Surprise! Samsung's Ballie smart robot is 延期するd again
Samsung has been developing the Ballie robot for half a １０年間 now. In that time, we've seen 多重の iterations of the robot, with the 製造業者 申し込む／申し出ing glimpses at CES 2024 and the 2025 版 earlier this year. In April, Samsung said it would 開始する，打ち上げる the Gemini-力／強力にするd robot/projector this summer in the US and South Korea. That timeframe has come and gone, with the pr oduct nowhere in sight.
答える／応じるing to TechRadar's request for a comment, a Samsung spokesperson 定評のある the 延期する, though no 代案／選択肢 開始する，打ち上げる date was 供給するd. "We are continuing to 精製する and perfect the 科学（工学）技術 to 配達する an even more impactful 顧客 experience," the company spokesperson said.
It's been a long wait for Ballie
Samsung has been developing Ballie for a few years now, with the 製品 first 存在 shown off nearly six years ago at CES 2020. However, Ballie was designed 単独で as a 原型 with the company having no 意向 of bringing it to market. But that changed in 2024, as TechRadar points out, with the company then 明言する／公表するing earlier this year at CES that the AI robot would debut by the first half of the year.
That timeline was then moved to this summer, but the 装置 didn't show up. However, the US 調印する-up page that Samsung 始める，決める up 支援する then is still live, so we wouldn't say the company has 完全に given up on the Gemini-力／強力にするd smart projector just yet.

Although Samsung has published ビデオs and some imagery of the Ballie robot, the company hasn't let the public (or reviewers) try it out in 広範囲にわたる 詳細（に述べる）. Given that Samsung has shown off the robot at the last two CES events, we wouldn't be surprised if Ballie makes another 外見 at CES 2026 早期に next month, hopefully with 拡大するd 接近 to the robot.
While it looks 類似の to a robot vacuum, Samsung's Ballie serves a 完全に different 目的. The last we heard, Ballie is designed to be a smart assistant that can 支配（する）／統制する your lights, 迎える／歓迎する guests at the door, or even 潜在的に 申し込む／申し出 wardrobe 推薦s by てこ入れ／借入資本ing the cameras (and Gemini) onboard.
