Day 1: USA and 中国 earn first golds
The U.S. won their first gold メダル on the first 十分な day of 競争 (Sat. Day 5: Queen of the 1500
Katie Ledecky destroyed the field by more than 10 seconds in the 1500m 自由型 final for her first gold. By the time she left Paris, she'd have 14 メダルs (9 gold, 4 silver, 1 bronze), making her the most decorated American 女性（の） Olympian of all time.

Day 12: You can't outrun a dog
American Quincy Hall 抑えるのをやめるd a 素晴らしい 復帰 to 勝利，勝つ 400m gold in 43.40 seconds, the fourth-fastest time ever. "You can't outrun a dog," he said. "A dog is going to chase you forever."

Day 14: Sha'Carri's first gold
