All OpenOffice.org 使用／適用s use XML-based とじ込み／提出する 判型s. All 使用／適用s (except Math) use the same 判型 as defined in our specification. The Math 構成要素 uses our 一括 structure and 判型 (see below), but uses MathML inside the 一括.

What is all that binary goo I see in your とじ込み／提出するs?
Our 文書s use 一括s that 含む／封じ込める the XML data と一緒に binary data such as images. The 一括s use the 井戸／弁護士席 known ZIP 判型. Just open an sxw/sxc/... とじ込み／提出する with a ZIP-道具 of your choice, and you get 接近 to the unadulterated XML.
The 文書 meta data (in the meta.xml stream) is not compressed. This 許すs for 平易な searching and extraction of the meta data.

What 一括 判型 do you use, and what do I find inside?
We use the 井戸／弁護士席-known ZIP とじ込み／提出する 判型 as a 一括 判型. In 新規加入, we 蓄える／店 an XML-based manifest とじ込み／提出する that 述べるs the 一括 content and may 供給（する） 付加 （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） about the 含むd とじ込み／提出するs (e.g. encryption method). Since we use ZIP, most 古記録 programs can already 扱う our とじ込み／提出するs.
Inside the 一括, you 一般に find several streams that （不足などを）補う the 十分な office 文書. These are:
meta.xml （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） about the 文書 (author, time of last save, ...) styles.xml styles that are used in the 文書 content.xml main 文書 content (text, （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するs, graphical elements) settings.xml 文書 and 見解（をとる） settings (such as magnification level and selected printer); these are usually 使用／適用 明確な／細部 META-中距離核戦力/manifest.xml 供給するs 付加 （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） about the other とじ込み／提出するs (such as MIME type or encryption method) Pictures/ directory 含む／封じ込めるing images (in their native, binary 判型s) Dialogs/ directory 含む／封じ込めるing dialogs used by 文書 大型のs Basic/ directory 含む／封じ込めるing StarBasic 大型のs Obj.../ directories 含む／封じ込めるing embedded 反対するs, such as charts; each directory 含む／封じ込めるs one such 反対する, 蓄える／店d in its native 判型. How can I put 付加 （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） into an XML とじ込み／提出する?
外国人 せいにするs, i.e. せいにするs not defined in the OpenOffice.org DTD, will be 保存するd if they are 大（公）使館員d to
<style:所有物／資産／財産s>elements in style 鮮明度／定義s. All other 外国人 content will be discarded by the OpenOffice.org 輸入する filters.Since you can attach styles to 独断的な text 範囲s, you can use this 機械装置 to attach your （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） to 独断的な text 範囲s, too.
公式文書，認める: The above 機械装置 seems to only work in Writer. The 問題／発行する is under 調査.
It is planned that you can also put 付加 とじ込み／提出するs with your own content into the 一括s. However, this doesn't work yet.

For 目的s of 輸入する and 輸出（する）, we 供給する UNO-based services that 許す you to 輸入する or 輸出（する） XML data through the SAX interface. A documentation of this technique is 利用できる here.
Also, it is planned to 許す plain XML とじ込み／提出するs (without 一括s) to be read and written. However, this is not 器具／実施するd yet.

Why are so many styles written out?
In general, styles that are used in the 文書 or that have been 修正するd by the 使用者 are written to disk. The former is necessary to （判決などを）下す the 文書 正確に. The latter is 保存するd because if a 使用者 edited those styles, he/she is likely to use them later on. Therefore, those styles should not be discarded, even though they do not 与える／捧げる to the 文書 in its 現在の form and 形態／調整.
If styles that 会合，会う neither of these 基準 are written, then this is may be considered a bug. The Draw, Impress, and Calc 使用／適用s 現在／一般に show this 行為.

How are embedded images and binary data 扱うd?
Images and embedded 反対するs are 蓄える／店d in their native 判型s into the ZIP-based 一括 判型.

Why didn't you use XHTML, XSL-FO, SVG, etc. ?
Those 判型s are not used because they do not have a suitable level of 贈呈 for office 文書s. When we 設立する an 設立するd 判型 (like the ones について言及するd above) 含む／封じ込めるs 概念s that are used in OpenOffice.org 同様に, then we 一般に 可決する・採択するd their 代表 for those 概念s in our XML 判型. We hope this will 緩和する 変形 between the 判型s.

I 設立する a bug. What do I do?
報告（する）／憶測 it using IssueZilla. Try to give a 詳細（に述べる）d description of what went wrong. Don't forget to 含む the 文書 in which the error occurred. (After submission of the bug, choose "create attachment".)
