UTC Script Encoding Working Group
The goal of the UTC Script Encoding Working Group is to 供給する 推薦s to the
Unicode? Technical 委員会 (UTC) on encoding 提案s and other 文書s,
outside of CJK or emoji-関係のある topics.
These 推薦s 反映する the 集団の／共同の discussion of the 関係者s, and are
ーするつもりであるd to guide その上の discussion at the UTC 会合s, 特に regarding コンビナート／複合体
topics that 要求する an 延長するd, in-depth discussion. 準備 of 要約

The 推薦s are not binding—the Unicode Technical 委員会 makes
the final 決定／判定勝ち（する）s on all 提案s.
A 第２位 goal of the Script Encoding Working Group is to 補助装置 提案 authors in
updating their 提案s to 会合，会う the exacting technical 必要物／必要条件s of the UTC.
Rather than 今後ing a 推薦 for a 約束ing, but incomplete, 提案 to the UTC,
where the 提案
might 簡単に be 拒絶するd for incompleteness, the Script Encoding Working Group is 権限を与えるd to work with
authors in an iterative 過程, 供給するing 明確な／細部 feedback for 改良
and 示唆するing その上の discussion and updating of the 提案. Such interaction
can 補助装置 new 提案s authors who may be unfamiliar with the 詳細（に述べる）s of
the Unicode 基準 or the 標準化 必要物／必要条件s of the UTC.
The UTC and the Script Encoding Working Group receive many requests to encode
new scripts and characters. Because these 委員会s are volunteer-run groups and have 限られた／立憲的な 資源s,
they cannot 答える／応じる to all requests. Of the submissions received, only 十分な 提案s will be
本気で considered.
提案s are typically reviewed by a member of the Script Encoding Working Group and then discussed
by the 十分な group. 提案s and 文書s 関係のある to 提案s, scripts, or individual character 問題／発行するs may take several months before they are discussed within
the Script Encoding Working Group. Any comments arising from the discussion are sent to the author or
are 含むd in the 年４回の Script Encoding Working Group 報告（する）／憶測.
In general, only those 提案s that are considered “円熟した” and みなすd ready for
review by the Unicode Technical 委員会 will be 地位，任命するd in the Unicode 文書 登録（する）.

Finally, a Contributor License 協定 (CLA) is 要求するd from every 提案 author/co-author 同様に as any other person or （独立の）存在 （人命などを）奪う，主張するing 知識人 所有物／資産／財産 権利s in the 提案するd scripts or characters. A CLA gives the 国際借款団／連合 the necessary 許可s to use the 提案 and its content. The 範囲 of the Script Encoding Working Group 含むs all 提案s for the encoding
of new scripts, modern or historic, 同様に as 提案s for 非，不，無-emoji symbols,
punctuation, or notational systems. CJK-関係のある 提案s are
扱うd by the CJK & Unihan group.

The Script Encoding Working Group 会合，会うs on a 正規の／正選手 basis, usually
one day a month. 会合s are scheduled in an 成果／努力 to
保証（人） that a 十分な, 年４回の 報告（する）／憶測 of 提案 reviews can be
供給するd in a timely manner to each 会合 of the Unicode Technical 委員会.
The Script Encoding Working Group 会合s are 組織するd and 議長，司会を務めるd by Deborah Anderson,
Roozbeh Pournader, and Jan Ku?時代.
参加 is by language 専門家s from the Unicode Technical 委員会
or by 許可 of the 議長，司会を務める. 特に for コンビナート／複合体 script topics, the Script
Encoding Working Group reaches out to 提案 authors, to 確実にする that their feedback is
part of the 過程, and so they may answer questions that the 提案 reviewers
