www.phidgets.com has a 範囲 of modules which connect to a host PC 経由で USB. You need Windows 2000 or XP, or later. The Linux community is also supported. At the heart of using Phidgets with Windows, you need to be able to call a COM or .NET library, 供給（する）d by the nice people at Phidgets. They work hard to support a variety of programming 環境s, but, 明白に, the support for some languages is more active than that for others.

To use the modules, you will need a Windows 2000 or XP machine or Linux.
(Remember the 公式文書，認める above 説 this page is mostly from 2005). In the Windows 環境, you 任命する／導入する a library with an .msi とじ込み／提出する. That's supposed to stand for "MicroSoft Installer". 許す a little cynicism/ experience, and please don't take this as a 批評 of Phidgets... msi's are all the 激怒（する）, "everybody's doing it", but... "MicroSoft Inscrutable".... Click "Next" and pray. Something will happen, but you'll never know what it was. I hope your system 作品 afterwards.
It seems from one thing I read that all you 現実に NEED, if programming with Delphi, is your Delphi exe and a DLL which is 任命する／導入するd as part of the .msi's activities. (2010: I think things 要求する more コンビナート／複合体 手はず／準備 today... dll must be 登録（する）d with 地元の 取り付け・設備 of OS, at least?)
Once the library is 任命する／導入するd, you are mostly done. It makes 令状ing programs to interact with the Phidgets 比較して painless. There are guides for Visual Basic, C, C++, Delphi, Labview and Java programmers, and やめる a few 見本 事業／計画（する）s, though, apart from 顧客's 見本s, everything seems to be 利用できる only in one or another variant of Visual Basic.
