It still may be possible, however, to find older 解放（する）s through third parties or Internet 古記録s that 嘘（をつく） out of the 支配（する）／統制する of the Apache 事業／計画（する）. For past 解放（する）s under the SUN/Oracle umbrella, OpenOffice.org used a 選び出す／独身 open-source license for the source code and a separate documentation license for most 文書s published on the website without the 意向 of 存在 含むd in the 製品. The source-code license was the GNU Lesser General Public License. 効果的な OpenOffice.org 3.0 Beta, OpenOffice.org used the LGPL v3. The 文書 license was the Public 文書 License (PDL).

The preference was always for 出資／貢献s of editable work. But in those 事例／患者s where editable 構成要素 was difficult to 得る, there were several 選択s; all 推定するd that the developer held copyright in the work:
- Developers would have 調印するd a Contributor 協定, which covers all work (and not just code) 与える／捧げるd to OpenOffice.org;
- In countries where 法律s 許す it, the developer could make it public domain by 宣言するing as much in a 調印するd 文書; or
- developers could use the Creative ありふれたs Attribution License ( "Attribution-NoDerivs 2.5"). SUN/Oracle only 受託するd work under this license that was 非，不，無-editable and for which there was no editable 見解／翻訳／版 that could be 与える／捧げるd to the 事業／計画（する）.
