The 613 build:? problems and 適切な時期s
On 13 December 2000, Sun’s engineers 解放（する）d the 613 取り付け・設備 始める，決める (the 最新の build) to the OpenOffice.org community.? As with all of previous builds, Sun’s engineer’s had 完全に 実験（する）d the ソフトウェア on the 基準 assortment of boxes and under the usual circumstances.? The 解放（する） 成し遂げるd as designed, and there was no 推論する／理由 to 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑う that any problem would be worse than the usual for a pre-alpha 解放（する）.
For these 推論する／理由s, then, the bugs that were すぐに discovered by community members who 試みる／企てるd to 任命する／導入する and run the ソフトウェア were all the more surprising. The bugs （判決などを）下すd the ソフトウェア by and large inoperable and unusable. These community members were not, it should be 強調する／ストレスd, using strange boxes; their 体制／機構s were perfectly ordinary. What is more, all previous builds 任命する／導入するd as 推定する／予想するd and were stable.
The traffic in the "discuss" mailing 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） was far greater than 普通の／平均（する）, and members were busy 申し込む／申し出ing 警告s and advice.? But it seemed that many community members could not 首尾よく 任命する／導入する the build, let alone run the ソフトウェア.
Once the extent of the problem became （疑いを）晴らす, pulling the 取り付け・設備 始める，決める became a plausible 返答. From this 視野, the 613 build 反映するd an inexplicable and わずかに embarrassing slip-up in 質 保証／確信 that should not be （打撃，刑罰などを）与えるd on the community 捕まらないで. Indeed, barely twenty-four hours after the 解放（する）, やすりを削る人／削る機械 Vesik 始めるd a new thread in the "discuss" 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） that asked the community members whether the 取り付け・設備 始める，決めるs should be pulled. At the heart of the query lay the 関心 that community members were both wasting their time with 50-加える megabyte downloads and that the OpenOffice.org 事業／計画（する） was 明らかにする／漏らすing itself to be an unprofessional 成果／努力.
The 返答 to やすりを削る人／削る機械’s 投票 was 即座の and at first seemed to lean toward the idea of pulling the 取り付け・設備 始める，決める, with one 特派員 arguing that 除去するing it would "save 直面する." But then OpenOffice.org Community 経営者／支配人 Adam "Goolie" Gould persuasively argued that saving 直面する was not the point of an open-source 事業／計画（する）:?
"If this were a proprietary beta 解放（する）," Goolie pointed out, "then yes, we all wouldn't want to 'look bad' in 前線 of our 顧客s, and would be worried about 損失ing our 評判 in the market."? But the build was not a proprietary beta 解放（する）, and OpenOffice.org is not a proprietary 事業／計画（する）. In fact, OpenOffice.org is an important leader in the open-source movement and, rather than illustrating a 失敗 of QA, the problems surrounding the 解放（する） and the community 返答 示す the strength of the open source model for finding and 演説（する）／住所ing 開発 problems.
That’s because, "As far as Sun could tell, they 解放（する）d a perfectly 罰金 build; it worked on all their 実験（する） 事例／患者s.? We only discovered problems when you, the larger OpenOffice.org community, discovered some 問題／発行するs on your unique "実験（する） 事例／患者s".? This is 正確に／まさに when we need your help." The 広大な／多数の／重要な advantage, in short, of an open-source community lies 正確に in its ability to 位置／汚点／見つけ出す (and even 直す／買収する，八百長をする) bugs of this sort.? Pulling the build would thus 敗北・負かす the 目的 of OpenOffice.org, which does not pretend to 解放（する） bug-解放する／自由な builds and relies on the dialectic relation with the community members to create better ソフトウェア.
The 取り付け・設備 始める，決める was not pulled. But, 見込みのある downloaders were 警告するd that the build was problematic.? Has the 事業／計画（する） 苦しむd as a result of the problematic build? There’s no 平易な way to tell. But, 裁判官ing from the level of developer 約束／交戦, 手段d by mailing-名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） 地位，任命するs and downloads, the answer is, no.? In fact, for the week of 17 December to 23 December, there were a very impressive 4,310 downloads. The numbers 示唆する, in short, a community hardly 脅すd by the problems of the build and instead even more engaged, even more 利益／興味d in the 未来 of OpenOffice.org.?
