スポットライト 20: On Community Localizations--Hungarian
The L10N 事業／計画（する） 含むs both localization and internationalization 成果／努力s. And it has lately become a scene of some very exciting activity. OpenOffice.org now has a community-sponsored Hungarian localization (translation and adaptation) of the code. This in itself is やめる good; but what is nothing short of amazing is the 速度(を上げる） with which it was made: いっそう少なく than a week. かなり いっそう少なく than a week.

Maybe this is a bit off-topic, but I think you'd all be somewhat 利益／興味d...
Several people in Hungary have had enough of not having a 解放する／自由な, open translation of the OpenOffice[.org] 控訴. (We have seen a now about 20% [of a] 解放する／自由な translation, which began 8 months ago; it is 存在 連係させた partly by Magosanyi Arpad, who is 示すd as the Hungarian 接触する person on the OpenOffice.org website. This 事業／計画（する） is 独立した・無所属 of him.)
Let's start with the "story" part: We (3 people) decided that we would do the translation from null, in just 3 days!
Yes, that's 権利, 3 days, from the 1st of February to the 4th February. We got a machine-equipped room from the Technical University of Budapest, several sponsors took care of the food (mostly pizza) and drink (soft drinks, cola).
The 事業／計画（する） began on last Friday afternoon, and lasted until Monday morning, and was mostly nonstop. About 12-16 people were in the 事業／計画（する） room at a time, and about a 100 people 共同製作するd over the '逮捕する, using our special PHP/CGI script. We translated the だいたい 21000 strings that the localize 道具 had 抽出するd, in about 36 hours, then we proceeded to building, 実験（する）ing and 訂正するing the result.
We didn't translate the help (and the "long" tooltips), and didn't localize the "とじ込み／提出するs" (autotext templates, etc.), but I think even without these, this is a pretty good result. We have a webpage written in Hungarian language on http://office.fsf.hu. I don't think this will 利益／興味 you, and some photos: http://office.fsf.hu/work/photos/.
We have appeared in several newsites here, and also had an 外見 in the public 無線で通信する.

I'll 追加する that the importance of this 事業／計画（する）, and the 緩和する with which it was 遂行する／発効させるd, can't be overemphasized. OpenOffice.org is an international program and 事業／計画（する）; that it can be localized in three blistering days is remarkable, and that there are people out there who not only know how to do this but are willing to 与える／捧げる so importantly to the 事業／計画（する） is very encouraging.
