The New 事業/計画(する) Leads: Caio Tiago Oliveira de Sousa

Late last year, the leadership of several important 核心 事業/計画(する)s changed 手渡すs. Some of the new leads have been leads in other 事業/計画(する)s and take on new 責任/義務s; others are new to the 職業. What does a 事業/計画(する) lead do? That depends on the 事業/計画(する), but it's usually considered 役割 that 連合させるs 行政の, 管理の, and leadership 義務s, and 代表するs a very high level of 信用. The 事業/計画(する) leads for the 受託するd technical 事業/計画(する)s are in particular important to OpenOffice.org, for they are 大部分は 責任がある what makes up the source to the 使用/適用, 同様に as for reaching out to developers.
The に引き続いて 始める,決める of short interviews, of which this is the first (others will follow over the next week), is meant to introduce them to the community. As with all of OpenOffice.org's leads, they are open to the community and welcome developer 利益/興味 and 接触する.I asked Caio Tiago Oliveira de Sousa, the new co-lead of the QA 事業/計画(する), more or いっそう少なく the same questions I asked the others....

My 十分な 指名する is Caio Tiago Oliveira de Sousa, my OpenOffice.org account 指名する and my IRC nick is asrail. I'm from Brazil (Salvador - Bahia) and I'm a student of 計算するing Science at the Universidade 連邦の da Bahia (UFBA). I also have 熟考する/考慮するd Design at the Universidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB), but I've left it.
I love programming, design, usability, and I like ソフトウェア 工学 a lot. I've discovered some years ago that I like too much to help the people with their problems and 疑問s. Something occurred around march 04 I were an active member of the general 使用者s 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる). After spending a few months there, I've seen there were a lot of people able to help and I decided to look for other places were my help would be 高く評価する/(相場などが)上がるd.
So I went to QA. おもに 確認するing and の近くにing 問題/発行するs, asking for info, etc.
I did a few CWS's (for Christian Lohmaier) and the 残り/休憩(する) for most of the OpenOffice.org 見解/翻訳/版s to build on Debian/Ubuntu; the 欠如(する) of time and the 欠如(する) of 招待s 妨げるd me from doing more.
The QA 事業/計画(する) is 責任がある the final 質 of the 解放(する)d 製品. QA members 行為/法令/行動する as a 橋(渡しをする) between 使用者 requests and developers, filtering and 集会 as much (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) as they can. Also QA members should run the basic 実験(する)s for patch 統合,差別撤廃s and to run 十分な 実験(する)s before 解放(する)ing a build, to 確実にする the functionality of the final 製品. l10n QA members should 実験(する) the translation, fonts (for Japanese, Chinese, etc.) and to run the 十分な 実験(する)s to 確実にする nothing went wrong in their builds.
My main 利益/興味 areas in QA are in usability and l10n, so for the 製品 as for the QA 道具s. I would like to see more 成果/努力s from the NL (Native Language 連合 of 事業/計画(する)s) and make it easier.
I'll 焦点(を合わせる) in の間の-operating with the NL teams, helping to translate 文書s, work to make easier to use the QA 道具s and receive the most feedback as I can. To show the importance of each NL to run the 実験(する)s is also 決定的な.
A lot of people think it's hard to get 伴う/関わるd, and to change their 見解(をとる)s, we can show them QA is a simple thing to do. At least, a lot of people would help just from running the 自動化するd 実験(する)s on their machines and 報告(する)/憶測ing the results. Just using and 報告(する)/憶測ing the 問題/発行するs in the OpenOffice.org 場所/位置, instead of just 非難するing on us, is another 広大な/多数の/重要な help. If you want to start, go to the QA 事業/計画(する) website. From the other 事業/計画(する)s, QA members and developers can help each other. Most of the people who do CWS are developers, friends one another. To 組織する this structure is 決定的な, so the developers would just make the patches and the QA members would run the 実験(する)s. Just a few ask in the QA 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) for volunteers--now! We shouldn't wait for this. You can do this or ask for QA member to do it for you.
