Mirrors: Answers
- Mirrors Overview
OpenOffice.org needs mirrors 分配するd throughout the globe. But we also need--really need--US mirrors. Mirror 場所／位置s can only mirror the binaries, source, and member-出資／貢献s. OpenOffice.org does not have the 能力 to 許す mirroring of the website itself.
- How 安全な are the とじ込み／提出するs?
Use ありふれた sense. To be 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）d on our mirrors page, mirror 場所／位置s need only to 固執する to some very basic 基準s. The data are not 保証（人）d and we recommend that after you have downloaded your binary/source, you 立証する the とじ込み／提出するs and run md5sum on your とじ込み／提出するs. Please use 警告を与える; any とじ込み／提出する you downlod from the Internet may have bugs and worse.
A freeware md5sum program for Windows is 利用できる. It's untested by us. If this doesn't work 井戸／弁護士席 or you know of a better one, please email webmasters and let us know (please remember to 言及する to this page).

- Join the Mirrors 事業／計画（する） - To be 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）d on the 場所／位置, you must join our Mirrors 事業／計画（する）. You must also subscribe to the mirrors discuss and 発表する mailing 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）. These 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）s are featured on the Mirrors 事業／計画（する） homepage. The mirrors@配当.openoffice.org 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） (for discussions) is ひどく trafficked; the 発表する is not and is for 告示s 付随するing to OpenOffice.org 配当.
- Once you have joined the 事業／計画（する） and subscribed to the 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）s, please 通知する the discuss 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） what your mirror will be carrying. 部類s and 選択s are 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）d on the homepage.
These binaries (installable ソフトウェア) are in 開発. They may not be fully stable and should be used with 警告を与える. We make no （人命などを）奪う，主張するs about them.
- Do you support rsync?
Yes. Please send in the needed （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） about your mirror mirror 場所／位置 to the Mirrors 事業／計画（する） mailing 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）, mirrors@配当.openoffice.org.
Once you have done that, please point to a suitable host:
rsync rsync://tier-1-server/path/ and start mirroring. If you have more problems, "man rsync" first. If your questions are not 解決するd, please 地位，任命する them to the mirrors discuss 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）.
- What とじ込み／提出するs should be mirrored and how big are they?
We 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） the directories and sizes of each directory (approximate) on the Mirrors 事業／計画（する） homepage.
- What about website content? Would you like that mirrored?
Thanks, but no. We change our content やめる 定期的に, and would like to 避ける any content 調整 problems.
