Abstract
To create a new data source with the new MySQL driver, the data source 行政 dialog must be 延長するd. A new page will be 挿入するd where the 使用者 can fill in all necessary （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） which are needed to connect to a MySQL database.

1 MySQL driver page
The new driver page fort MySQL 許すs the 使用者 to select between two different 肉親，親類d of 'how to connect to the MySQL database'. The first 可能性 is to use an 存在するing MyODBC1 data source which must be defined in the used system. The second 肉親，親類d is to use the JDBC2 見解／翻訳／版 from MySQL 指名するd “connector/J”.

In
the first group box the 使用者 can select which 肉親，親類d of 関係 he
would like to use. Either an 存在するing ODBC data source which must be
defined in the used system or to connect to the database 経由で the JDBC

extra edit field is enabled when the JDBC was selected, where the

server should use, can be defined. The URL field 含む／封じ込めるs different

含む／封じ込めるs the host 指名する, a port number and the database 指名する. To give
the 使用者 a hint, the URL field will 含む／封じ込める a default value for a

fields in the brackets.
