The OpenOffice Bibliographic 事業／計画（する） (OOoBib) will make it easier for people to 蓄える／店 and manage their 言及／関連 data, to 判型 their 文書s, and to 共同製作する with other 使用者s.

It will be simple to use for the casual 使用者, but will 会合，会う all the 必要物／必要条件s of the professional and academic writer.

The features we will build 含む -

When the 事業／計画（する）'s 客観的なs are 達成するd, it will be possible to 変える a 科学の, technical or academic paper from one bibliographic style to an other bibliographic style, such as one 要求するd by a 定期刊行物, 簡単に by selecting the 要求するd style 条約 and automaticity reformat the 文書 to the new style. As our first step, we will 器具／実施する the 内部の metadata and API enhancements to enable Bibliographic 拡張s to OpenOffice such as Zotero, to better interact with OpenOffice. 現在／一般に when you 挿入する citation into Writer with Zotero, only the text of the formatted citation is 蓄える／店d in the Writer 文書, all the citation metadata resides in the database. If you wish to 株 your 文書 with the 十分な bibliographic data you would need to 一括 it with a copy of the Zotero database. The 目的（とする） is to 蓄える／店 both formatted citation its metadata in the Writer 文書. Zotero would be able to retrieve the bibliographic data from the 文書 and when necessary reformat the citations and 言及／関連s （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するs from the 初めの metadata.

To 達成する this we will 器具／実施する the most simple changes to the OOo Writer 核心 code (the API basic code, and UNO mappings, but not yet the 使用者 interface code) necessary.

When these basic 機能（する）／行事s are built into OOo Writer and are made assessable 経由で UNO, we can then use 早い 原型ing 開発 methods to design and build 原型 GUI interfaces and bibliographic formatting engines using the 拡張 開発 Toolkit and Smart Tags. We will be able to use any of the programming languages which have OpenOffice bindings and are supported by the toolkit: C++, Java, Python and, of course, OpenOffice Basic. We believe that we will find more developers who can work in these languages than by 主張するing on C++ code from the start. Also it is much easier to build 原型s using Java, Python and OpenOffice Basic than in C++.

But what can I do now ? In the 合間, if you are not happy with OOo's basic bibliographic support, you may like to use some of the third-party bibliographic 使用／適用s that can work with OpenOffice. See the bibliographic ソフトウェア page for more 詳細（に述べる）s. We recommend you use Zotero, which has a OOo plugin to 補助装置 with citation 管理／経営. Other 使用／適用s are: Jabref, which can inset citations and bibliographies into an Writer 文書new, B3 which can 令状 bibliographic 記録，記録的な／記録するs to a Openoffice Bibliographic text database or Bibus which has good 統合，差別撤廃 with OpenOffice.

Background

Bibliographic 使用／適用s help people manage their 言及／関連 items and to create formatted citations and 言及／関連 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）s. Publishers, academic and other 会・原則s 一般に 明示する 詳細（に述べる）d 必要物／必要条件s of how their 文書s are to look, 含むing the 言及／関連 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）s and the citations. Citation and 言及／関連 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） formatting is an often tedious and error-傾向がある 仕事, 特に if one has to later change styles.
