The Kaffe 事実上の Machine
Kaffe is a clean room 実施 of the Java 事実上の machine, 加える the associated class libraries needed to 供給する a Java runtime 環境. The Kaffe 事実上の machine is 解放する／自由な ソフトウェア, licensed under the 条件 of the GNU General Public License.
Kaffe is not an 公式に licensed 見解／翻訳／版 of the Java 事実上の machine. In fact, it 含む／封じ込めるs no Sun/Oracle source code at all, and was developed without even looking at the Sun/Oracle source code. It is 合法的な -- but Oracle 支配（する）／統制するs the Java trademark, and has never 是認するd Kaffe, so technically, Kaffe is not Java.
