Much has been written about the 戦う／戦いs that go on between ソフトウェア companies over market 株. FoxTales is the story about one such 戦う／戦い, told from the 視野 of a foot 兵士--my 視野.
When I started working for Fox ソフトウェア as a young college grad, it was a company of barely over thirty people. It 株d space in a small bank building 位置を示すd in the town of Perrysburg-on the 辛勝する／優位 of Ohio's farm country. It was a quaint, family-run 商売／仕事 and its 製品, FoxBASE+, was a niche player.
The next four years brought many surprises, though. In that time, Fox would 解放（する） a line of award winning database 製品s, be 告訴するd by a larger 競争相手 company, grow to over 250 従業員s, and 結局 生き延びる the 競争相手 to 合併する with Microsoft, moving all of us thousands of miles west.
And to think, I could've been a 農業者.
