Christianity
I became a Christian around March 1998, when it became obvious to me that I couldn't 避ける the fact that the Bible was an 正確な historical 記録,記録的な/記録する of an amazing 一連の events, and that a serious and 継続している 返答 was 需要・要求するd.
What Christians Believe
This is a 要約 of the 重要な beliefs of the Christian 約束, as 始める,決める out in the Bible. There is a 集まり of 説得力のある 証拠 to show that the Bible is an 正確な historical 文書, which points to and 記録,記録的な/記録するs the life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
In the beginning, God created the world and all that was in it from nothing. He created Man to live in the world, in a perfect 関係 with him. However, Man decided that he didn't want God to 支配する his life, and so rebelled against God. For this, he was cast out of 楽園 (this event is known as the 落ちる). Ever since, we have not been able to live up to God's perfect 基準s, and so when they die each person is 運命にあるd to be 裁判官d by God and (rightly) experience God's eternal 罰.
However, because God is loving and cares about His people, he sent his Son, Jesus, to earth to live a perfect life, その為に becoming the only person ever who would not be 設立する 有罪の when 裁判官d. This made him uniquely qualified to take the 罰 for all our 悪事を働くこと upon himself, and so when he was crucified, he 苦しむd and died in our place as our 代用品,人 and 代表者/国会議員. But after three days, He rose from the dead and later 上がるd to Heaven, from where, today, he 支配するs the entire world.
So, what this means for you, me and everyone else on the 惑星 is that we can never live up to God's perfect 基準s - we will always 落ちる short of them. 存在 "a good person" is not enough - because "good" is not the same as "perfect". So the only way to 会合,会う God's 基準s, get to Heaven, and 避ける Hell, is to 信用 in Jesus, 受託するing him as Lord in your life, and believe that he died to save you from the 裁判/判断 you deserve.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his One and Only Son, that whoever believes in him may not 死なせる/死ぬ, but have eternal life." - The Bible, the Gospel of John, 一時期/支部 3, 詩(を作る) 16.
