癌

Since 2000, I have had Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC), a malignant salivary （分泌する為の）腺癌. An edited ビデオ of the interview was used as the introduction to a talk called “An Imaginary God in a 苦しむing World?”, which covered the question of how both Christians and 非，不，無-Christians try and make sense of the 存在 and meaning of 苦しむing ? because it’s a difficult question wherever you stand. You can hear the talk which followed the ビデオ (length: about 38 minutes 含むing Scripture readings).

Timeline

2000-07: 初期の lump appears in neck
2001-04: 外科 to 除去する lump; diagnosis (8 weeks before university final exams)
2001-06: 探検の／予備の neck 操作／手術, repeated 予定 to 過度の bleeding (big writeup of this period)
2002-09: Scar 改訂するd to try and 改善する it
2005-01: Lump 設立する in 床に打ち倒す of mouth and 部分的に／不公平に除去するd; discovered to be 最初の／主要な; lumps 設立する in 肺s
2005-04: Second mouth 操作／手術 to 除去する the 残り／休憩（する）; mouth 床に打ち倒す修理d with part of tongue :-)
2005-12: More ざっと目を通すs done of the 肺 metastases
2006-04: First 肺 cleaned out
2006-05: Second 肺 cleaned out
2006-06: 付加 lump 設立する in neck
2006-08: Lump 除去するd; 放射線療法定める／命ずるd for the neck to 減ずる chance of 地元の再発
2006-11: 放射線療法 (big writeup)
2007-10: 6cm lump 設立する in 肝臓 (pictures)
2007-12: 肝臓 lump 除去するd, along with 権利 half of 肝臓 and gall bladder
2009-04: Rediagnosed with 肺 metastases
2010-07: 腎臓 metastasis 設立する
2012-11: 10cm 腎臓 metastasis 除去するd, along with left 腎臓
2013-11: ざっと目を通す shows new 肝臓 metastasis, spread to the pleural space, and 増加するd size for 二国間の／相互の肺 metastases
2014-04: 生体検査 done for 患者-Derived Xenograft 熟考する／考慮する
2015-05: 現在のざっと目を通すs show metastases of 重要な size in 肝臓, remaining 腎臓, 肺s, pleura, and left 脚
2016-08: Entered AToM 裁判，公判, 実験（する）ing olaparib and AZD0156 (two デオキシリボ核酸-修理 inhibitors) in combination
2016-10: Left AToM 裁判，公判; 影響 was 現実に an 増加する in tumour growth :-(
2017-03: Most tumours 現在／一般に growing at 1-2mm a month; largest is 6cm or so
2017-04: A lump was 圧力（をかける）ing on my 肝臓 and 制限するing 胆汁 flow, 主要な to itching and 負わせる loss (15kg in a year); had 胆汁導管 stent to 再開する導管
2017-09: More stents 追加するd to 肝臓; still no long-称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語改良
2017-10: Third stent 操作／手術; still not really having the 願望（する）d result
2018-01: Discover some tumours now growing 5mm per month, and 肝臓 is 公正に／かなり riddled
2018-01: Given 選択s of chemotherapy or 放射線療法 to 肝臓; decide neither is appropriate, so step away from work to spend more time with family
