In 5/05, I became the happy owner of a 装置 you may find a useful: The Aviosys IP 力／強力にする 9212. It is a 網状組織 remote 監査役 and sensor.. 8 bits of 数字表示式の input, 8 of 生産（高）. You can switch things on and off, or sense the 明言する／公表する of diverse sensors from anywhere on your 網状組織, be it internet or LAN, using this 装置. Your sensors and actuators plug into it, it plugs into your 網状組織. The IP 9212 has a built in web server. You 接近 it across the 逮捕する almost the same way as you probably 接近d this page.
I 得るd 地雷 from www.digidave.co.uk, where they were for sale May 05 for &続けざまに猛撃する;79 +p&p. He has an eBay 評判 you can check out, and he 受託するs PayPal.
I have since moved most of my attention to the 製品s from HW-Group in the Czech 共和国, but you can probably find 安価な IP9212's on eBay. (I've done 公式文書，認めるs on the HW-Group 製品s.)
What's it good for? (After we look at that, I'll turn to some work I've done on "How do you make it work?")
You connect the 9212 to your LAN. The 9212 has 8 bits of 数字表示式の 生産（高） and 8 bits of 数字表示式の input. It can, or will, so I'm told, also 支配（する）／統制する a モーター... but that's a tale for another time. Aviosys also sell 装置s to make 接近 to CCTV over a LAN 平易な.
You then 解雇する／砲火／射撃 up your favorite web browser, and point it at the 9212 (more in a moment). The 9212 has a built in web server, and will 原因（となる） a page to appear in your browser. That page is a 支配（する）／統制する パネル盤 for the 生産（高）s, and 陳列する，発揮するs 明言する／公表する of the inputs when the page was last refreshed.
In theory, which I don't 疑問, but have not 実験（する）d, if your IP 9212 is connected to the internet, you can 接近 the 装置 from a browser running in any internet-connected PC.
You can also read from / 令状 to the 装置 using programs written by you, not 伴う／関わるing a web browser. 見本 code is 供給するd in VB and C, and I think you could use Delphi. There's more on all of this below in the section about the SDK. (In fact anything which can 接近 機能（する）／行事s inside a DLL.)
Uses:
So... as I said... what's it good for? 基本的に, it is useful whenever your PC is a point "A", and you want to know about, or 支配（する）／統制する things happening at some point "B"... you just need to be able to connect "A" and "B" with a LAN, wired or wireless.... or (恐らく) 経由で the internet. Here are a few examples. Some 要求する 付加 装置s, of course, and others are not 現実主義の as 現在のd... but are indicative of things which could be made, even if you must 増加するing the 解答's sophistication in come 事例／患者s.
Imagine you have a 温室. You could have it "tell" you when it was hot / 冷淡な / 湿気の多い. You could then, from the desk in your 熟考する／考慮する, open or の近くに vents, 支配（する）／統制する fans, heaters. "国／地域 too 乾燥した，日照りの" could be 実験（する）d. "Water that 工場／植物" could be 命令（する）d.
The 部隊 could be part of an 接近 支配（する）／統制する system. The inputs could be used to 示す a 使用者's 身元, the 生産（高）s could open さまざまな locked cupboards... under the 支配（する）／統制する of a 監督者 who would not need to be in that part of the building. With one IP 9212 部隊, 127 cupboards could be controlled with no 広大な／多数の／重要な difficulty.
There are many more things you could do. Why you'd want an IP 9212 isn't the main 推論する／理由 for this page.
One major point before we leave this section, though: I know you can sense the inputs and 支配（する）／統制する the 生産（高）s if you sit in 前線 of a PC on the same LAN as the 装置. I am told, and believe, that you can also 令状 programs to 自動化する the sensing / 支配（する）／統制する 職業. So, for instance, if you've wired your 温室, you don't have to be there to turn on the heater when the sensor says the 気温 is too low. You can 令状 a program to watch and 答える／応じる.
Making it work:
Before I say more, I must 強調する／ストレス:
I am new to this 装置. I believe it is new to the market.
I am very 好意的に impressed by the physical 面s of the 装置. It is 井戸／弁護士席 built, and stylish. It consists three sleek metal boxes, 12cm x 8cm x 2.5cm. They are interconnected with simple, readily replacable cables. (Everything you need comes with the 装置... even an ethernet patch cable.) There's the usual 力／強力にする brick... suitable for 100-240v input, thank you. There are all the status LEDs you could wish for. What's inside looks good, too. In other words... everything you see points to a 井戸／弁護士席 made, 井戸／弁護士席 designed 製品.
Having said that... one must 収容する／認める that the documentation which comes with it is perhaps an 早期に 草案.... which is what this web page is all about. The 製造業者's English is a lot better than my Taiwanese... but that still leaves a lot of room for obscurities in the documentation. Also, it should be 公式文書，認めるd that they are working very hard to produce a good 製品, and are not really 推定する／予想するing to spend a lot of time doing email with hobbyists who need a lot of help. Pester me first? For one thing, English is my first language, and I may be able to reply more quickly, more 明確に.
I am not going to try to cover everything the 装置 is supposed to be able to do.... Don't think it is 欠如（する）ing something, just because my 公式文書，認めるs fail to について言及する it.
広大な／多数の／重要な news: If you make mistakes and misconfigure the 装置, there is a reset button which is supposed to 回復する it to it's 初めの 明言する／公表する.
First connect your rabbit:
Perhaps I'm over 用心深い, but I'll 始める，決める out what I would do, in 事例／患者 any of it 事柄s.
力／強力にする up the PC that is going to operate the 装置. Connect it to your LAN.
If I read the 文書s 権利, the 装置 can be operated either with a 直す／買収する，八百長をするd IP 演説（する）／住所 (what I've been doing) or behave によれば the 命令（する）s from a DHCP server which you would have as an 存在するing part of your LAN.
I would 示唆する, if you can, doing your first work with JUST the controlling PC and the IP 9212 on the LAN 関心d. I would also 示唆する connecting just the "IP 力／強力にする" box to your LAN 最初. And I'd take 負かす／撃墜する your firewalls, if your system can be 孤立するd from the 残り／休憩（する） of the world while you get started.
To have the IP 9212 持続する the 直す／買収する，八百長をするd IP 演説（する）／住所 it has, connect the 力／強力にする to your IP 9212 first, THEN connect it to your LAN. Doing it the other way, I think, 原因（となる）s the IP 9212 to look for, 受託する a "you will use this IP 演説（する）／住所" 命令（する） from the DHCP server. I've been staying with a 直す／買収する，八百長をするd 演説（する）／住所. I have not disconnected anything when I've rebooted the system. I 力／強力にする everything up before I boot the PC. I have no DCHP server.
So! You have the PC running, the 器具／備品 connected.
The next thing you need to do is discover the IP 演説（する）／住所 of the IP 9212. I don't think you need to 任命する／導入する any drivers.... though the Aviosys 供給（する）d documentation might make you think you do need to.
挿入する the CD that （機の）カム with the 器具／備品. 抑える 自動車-boot, if you know how. 取り消す the 申し込む／申し出 to 任命する／導入する Chinese language support if it arises. 取り消す the web page if it opens.
Browse into the 道具s folder. 二塁打 click on "IPEditV3". I don't think that's a driver; I think it is just an 使用／適用. Don't let the error messages 苦しめる you. Look for an 入ること／参加（者） in the upper left, under the 長，率いるing "Camera 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）s", where I hope you'll see a line "IP 力／強力にする". On the 権利 手渡す end of that line, you should see an IP 演説（する）／住所... something like 192.168.0.182
Shut 負かす／撃墜する IPEditV3.
Start up your browser (オペラ, FireFox, the other one... you choose.)
In the place where you usually put the www thingie, put the IP 演説（する）／住所. 圧力（をかける） enter or click "Go".
A page should open requesting a username and a password. (If it doesn't, remember that your firewall may be to 非難する.) The username "admin" should already be entered in the box. 供給（する） "12345678" (without the 引用するs) for the password.
A page should open with tickboxes for the 生産（高）s, and maybe some stuff about a モーター. (I have yet to 調査する the モーター 味方する of things. I think you need その上の 金物類／武器類, for one thing.)
生産（高）s: There are real LEDs on the 前線 of the IP 力／強力にする module, which should go on or off when you click the "適用する" button.
Two asides:
First aside: Parts of the documentation speak of half of the 生産（高）s 存在 普通は open, half of them 存在 普通は の近くにd. I don't think this is true. I think that from a 冷淡な boot they are, 最初, all in the same 明言する／公表する.
Second aside: The three boxes that come with the IP 9212 are 示すd "IP 力／強力にする", "IP 9201", and "IP 9202". At さまざまな places in the Aviosys 文書s and on their website, there is talk of IP 9201 and IP 9202. I think that they, in most 事例／患者s, 言及する to something OTHER than what you have in your 一括.... I think they 言及する to 補欠／交替の／交替する 製品s which had built in web servers. Maybe the 9212 取って代わるd an earlier 9201 and 9202, which would make sense, as the 9212 gives you, in 影響, two of the old 9201s 加える two of the old 9202s, all controlled 経由で a 選び出す／独身 IP 演説（する）／住所.
Anyway... by now, you have a working, I hope, system with 8 LEDs under your 支配（する）／統制する.
I THINK you can just plug the 生産（高） box in. (N.B.: 肉体的に, you COULD plug it in to the WRONG socket on the 支援する of the IP 力／強力にする 部隊. Read the labels!) If you are feeling 用心深い, 力／強力にする 負かす／撃墜する, make the 関係s, re-力／強力にする (remembering the 問題／発行するs of DCHP or no). Get 支援する to where you were before. Now when you turn the 生産（高）s on and off, 関係s will be made / broken between the pairs of pins on the 前線 of the 生産（高） box. (One pair of pins per 生産（高）.) They seem to run 支援する to the switch 接触するs of a relay, so, if that's 権利, you have pretty good 孤立／分離 of things you connect and your (推定では expensive) computer's 内部のs. The 生産（高） module's 事例／患者 is not, I don't think, earthed, so for safety 推論する／理由s you might want to 供給する an extra 層 of circuitry between your IP 9212 system and anything operating on 世帯 voltages. If you don't know what you are doing, it is best to 避ける 世帯 voltages. They are not very 許すing.
Inputs: Again... you can 力／強力にする 負かす／撃墜する if you wish, but, with no inputs connected, I don't THINK you need to. Connect the inputs box to the "IP 力／強力にする" 部隊. Get the system up and running again.
A "Gotcha": Unless I'm mistaken, the first four bits are VOLTAGE driven. Ignore them for the moment. (井戸／弁護士席... more than a moment. For now, you're on your own with these... I 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑う the answer to "how do they work" is what you'd 推定する／予想する... but I 港／避難所't 調査するd that yet. Try emailing me, if you need to know the 最新の info.) Bits 5,6,7 and 8, when your system is working, will "see" a switch: Connect the two pins of any of those inputs together, and the status LED on the IP 力／強力にする box should change 明言する／公表する, and the ソフトウェア should "see" what you've done.
The browser-接近d page that we used earlier to play with the 生産（高）s has a link to a "Read Inputs" page. Click on that, and you should be able to "watch" the inputs. The page refreshes itself frequently.
The SDK
I was really excited by the prospect of 令状ing my own programs to read and 運動 the 装置. There is an SDK for the IP9212. I believe you can get it from the website, if you do not have it on the CD. (If you have to look for it there, please tell me how you get on? If you send me the URL, I'll put it here for the next person.)
Don't be put off by the "bad news" that appears next... there is good news さらに先に 負かす／撃墜する the page...
There is a 見本 使用／適用 for you on the CD. It is 利用できる both in VB and in C. Happily, both source code and a finished EXE とじ込み／提出する are 供給するd. You need to put the Aviosys 供給（する）d "socket.dll" in the same folder as the EXE you are trying to run. The one written in Visual Basic just 原因（となる）d a weird hang-up of my machine, but the C 見解／翻訳／版 would run... IF....
At one point, BEFORE I tried to run the exe, I had to 接近 the IP9212 経由で a browser, and go past the 使用者/ password page, and THEN start the other program will. BUT...
.. Be Sure that the first thing you do is to enter the IP 演説（する）／住所, and click the "送信する／伝染させる" button. The 判型 you need is:
192.168.0.182
If you've got all of the above 権利, you should find yourself "in".
For some 推論する／理由, I had problems until I changed the 装置's IP 演説（する）／住所 to 192.168.0.27 (from 192.168.0.182... don't ask me why it 事柄s!!). NOW I can 接近 the 装置 with one the Aviosys 供給（する）d デモ programs, without having to スピードを出す／記録につける on, enter password 経由で web browser first. NOTA BENE: If you do not enter the 権利 IP 演説（する）／住所, and click "送信する／伝染させる", FIRST... the program will hang. This may 単に be sloppy programming, but it is not a major 欠陥 in the 製品.... remember the 供給（する）d program is just a デモ, trying to show you how to 接近 the 装置. Such programs are, I think, best kept as simple as possible, and "simple" means leaving out lots of things.
A word of 警告: My 部隊 seems to have a 欠陥: Unless I 始める，決める BOTH bits 6 and 7 (numbering from "1") high, NEITHER goes high. In other words, if one is low, they are both low. Somewhere in the 装置 the bits are AND'ed. I 推定する this is just a minor solder whisker somewhere, but if you find 類似の 行為 in your 部隊, please tell me?
My own program, written with Delphi 2, is now able to read the 明言する／公表する of the inputs, and 始める，決める or （疑いを）晴らす individual 生産（高）s. You can download a scruffy 見解／翻訳／版 of the sourcecode if you like. REMEMBER: I said "scruffy"... this is not the way my code usually looks! And you will need socket.dll (see elsehwere on this page) in the folder with the Delphi stuff. If enough people email me, I will put some 成果／努力 into きれいにする up the code. If you email with comments which show you've given some of my shareware a try, I'll get to the code cleanup sooner!
You'll need a copy of Aviosys's "socket.dll" which I'm not sure I can 分配する, so I won't... but you should find it on the downloads page of their website. You want the "SW-AP for 9XXX", "Infinity （機の）カム.Zip". That 3.4 Meg zip とじ込み／提出する has a number of things in it, 含むing, I hope, the "socket.dll" you need. I say "I hope" because if it is, it only 現れるs after you run the "体制／機構.exe" which is in the zip とじ込み／提出する. A general point: Don't be too quick to 適用する the firmware update... you may have that 見解／翻訳／版 of the firmware, anyway, and if it isn't broken....
I believe that the 装置 is able to "remember" the 明言する／公表する of the 生産（高）s from when 力／強力にする was last 除去するd, but I 港／避難所't had time to chase the 詳細（に述べる）s 負かす／撃墜する. An Aviosys 供給（する）d デモ program has buttons for controlling a stepper モーター 経由で the IP9212, and I think there are 決まりきった仕事s connected with this in Aviosys's driver dll. AVIOSys sell a モーター which I 推定する is meant to interface with the IP9212... and Digidave sells that, too.
Remember: If you have a use for up to 8 bits of input, 8 of 生産（高） which you will read / 支配（する）／統制する 直接／まっすぐに, the Aviosys is just 罰金. If you know Delphi, Visual Basic or C then it is probably a pretty good 部隊 for you, too.
