I'm 令状ing this while my experiences as a new 使用者 are still fresh in my mind. I'm using ooBase 2.4 on a Windows (ugh) XP box.

1) If they aren't already, get your basic ooOffice 使用／適用s 始める，決める up and running nicely.

2) Go to the OpenOffice.org 拡張s repository, navigate (menu at left) to By 使用／適用 | Base. Go to the page for Sun 報告（する）／憶測 建設業者. You have 選択s at this 行う／開催する／段階 which I don't fully understand. Here's what I did; it seems to work.

3) Click on the "Get It" (or "Download") button. I elected to save the result (sun-報告（する）／憶測-builder_0.oxt) の上に my computer. It was 2.9meg.

4) I then made sure, as per 指示／教授／教育s, that no OpenOffice 使用／適用 was running.

5) 二塁打 clicked on the sun-報告（する）／憶測-builder_0.oxt とじ込み／提出する. I don't think my PC went off to the 逮捕する during the 任命する／導入する. I don't know if the .oxt とじ込み／提出する is now redundant. I'm leaving it where it was, just to be 安全な.

6) Either すぐに, or after I started ooBase, which I did すぐに thereafter, a dialog （機の）カム up asking me to 受託する 条件. It 要求するs you to at least scroll 負かす／撃墜する through them all. (I of course read every word and had my lawyer check the 条件.) I then clicked "Okay" or "Next" or some such.

7) If not already up and running, I then started ooBase, not knowing how else to get into the 報告（する）／憶測 建設業者. (ooBase may have started during the 任命する／導入する... I don't remember for sure.) It could, after all, be a separate, stand-alone 使用／適用... but it isn't.

I even got lucky... my first 取り付け・設備 was of 見解／翻訳／版 1.0.1. When 1.0.2 （機の）カム along the next morning (typical!), I tried the from- within- ooBase update- the- 拡張 機械装置, and it seemed like it "just worked" :-)

I dislike 'fancy' websites with more 関心 for a flashy 外見 than for good content. For a pretty picture, I can go to an art gallery. Of course, an attractive 場所／位置 WITH content deserves 賞賛する... as long as that pretty 直面する doesn't cost download time. In any 事例／患者....
