Remember that Open Office, 含むing ooBase, is 解放する/自由な! But don't let that fool you. And it's not new. Big organizations, 政府 and 非軍事の, are 可決する・採択するing it as their 基準 office 控訴... and saving million$, but still Getting The 職業 Done.
There's more about ooBase in the main 索引 to this 構成要素.
This page is "browser friendly". Make your browser window as wide as you want it. The text will flow nicely for you. It is easier to read in a 狭くする window. With most browsers, 圧力(をかける)ing 加える, minus or 無 while the 支配(する)/統制する 重要な (ctrl) is held 負かす/撃墜する will change the texts size. (大きくする, 減ずる, 回復する to default, それぞれ.) (This is more fully explained, and there's another tip, at my 力/強力にする Browsing page.)
Page contents © TK Boyd, Sheepdog ソフトウェア ®, 2/06-2/19
This page is "捨てるs" left over after a major re-令状 of some 構成要素... But also on the page you are reading is a whole new example 大型の, not duplicated どこかよそで!.
The other pages which were given the best bits of what this once was are....
I have tried not to duplicate too much of the (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) that made its way into any of the above, but some overlap is 必然的な. Check out at least the first two of the above before continuing with the page you are looking at now. If you have already read them, this page should be helpful, if only to 強固にする/合併する/制圧する your knowledge and 技術s.
OpenOffice is a wonderful ソフトウェア 控訴. There are many, many things that it does 極端に 井戸/弁護士席. But there comes a time when you "really need" something that Open Office has not 供給するd a button for.
恐れる not! All is not lost! A 大型の can often 会合,会う your need.
But be careful what you wish for. 大型のs are another "lunch" which is not 解放する/自由な.
A 大型の is a 記録,記録的な/記録するd sequence of 指示/教授/教育s. Anything you can do "by 手渡す" (and more) can be put into a 大型の. If you have some tedious chore that you do over and over, you may want to consider creating a 大型の to 簡単にする your life.
耐える with me, and pretend that to guard against data loss you 持続する three 見解/翻訳/版s of some とじ込み/提出する. Let's say you keep the most 現在の 見解/翻訳/版 in a とじ込み/提出する called "GoodStuff". And let's say that your next older 見解/翻訳/版 is called "GoodStuffDad", and the oldest 見解/翻訳/版 you have is called "GoodStuffGrandad".
From time to time, you....
Under such a 計画/陰謀, from time to time, you will 簡潔に have 同一の contents in "GoodStuffDad" and GoodStuff", but you are always in a position to get 支援する to a 最近の 見解/翻訳/版 of the とじ込み/提出する if something goes horribly wrong as you edit "GoodStuff".
(This is, by the way, a コンビナート/複合体 system. It is a good system, 特に if the backup copies are held on different 貯蔵 装置s, but it would want 自動化するing if a human was 推定する/予想するd to use it. Having said that, I do use a very 類似の system, by 手渡す, for some of my とじ込み/提出するs.)
If you 手配中の,お尋ね者, you could do all of the above by 手渡す... with all of the attendant chances for typos. Alternatively, you could create a 大型の, and turn the 詳細(に述べる)s of the chore over to your machine. Whatever we may say about the さまざまな shortcomings of computers, they are 一般に pretty good at 辛うじて defined chores.
A tutorial explaining how to do that とじ込み/提出する backup work by a 大型の is 利用できる as a separate page.
====
So much for a simple 大型の that 単に 自動化するs something you could, if you had the patience, do by 手渡す. Probably of more 利益/興味 are the 大型のs which do things which you cannot do "by 手渡す." We will be making one of those.
Why is there always a "but..."?
One of the things which has kept me from embracing 大型のs is that there is an 総計費. You have to manage your 大型のs. They have to be kept where they are accessible... but not so "accessible" that they are underfoot when not needed... or leave "捨てるs" in the wake of 実験s.
I'm not 完全に happy with my "解答" to the problem, but give it a try. It has 長所s which may not be すぐに evident. I wrote my first computer program in 1968, and have developed some sense of what 作品, what doesn't. There are many possible 解答s, each with プロの/賛成のs and 反対/詐欺s. What I 提案する in the に引き続いて should keep your system manageable, hitting the "プロの/賛成のs" and 避けるing "反対/詐欺s".
My system is fully explained in the other essays that were 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)d a the start of this page. The "new" 大型の example 始める,決める out below also uses the system I like.
By the way, this tutorial was written using ooBase 見解/翻訳/版 3.0 on Windows XP, but things should work the same way under other 地位,任命する 見解/翻訳/版 1 OpenOffice 取り付け・設備s, and under other operating systems. 広大な/多数の/重要な news: From 見解/翻訳/版 3.1, you can 蓄える/店 大型のs in an ooBase database, something you couldn't do before. Open Office 昇格s have almost always gone 滑らかに for me. If you are in a position to take the 必然的な 危険s, I would recommend that you 昇格 to 見解/翻訳/版 3.1.
If you tried this tutorial before 29 損なう 2010 and it "wouldn't work" for you... try it again? I've gone through it again, and tidied some bits and pieces. I thought it was working 以前, but at least one thing wasn't as (疑いを)晴らす as it might have been, and a new bit has been 追加するd which makes something work more easily, more transparently... if it worked at all before! (Oops. Sorry.)
A little 予選 事柄: From the menu, invoke 道具s | 選択s. Within the "OpenOffice.org" part of the 選択s, on the "安全" page, you need to click the "大型の 安全..." button.
That opens a dialog where you can 始める,決める your 安全 to "Medium". This will 許す you to elect, on a 文書 by 文書 basis, to 許す 大型のs to run.
権利. That done? Onward.
Start a new OpenOffice Writer 文書. Yes- a simple text 文書. (We'll get to 大型のs with ooBase later.)
Use the menu: 見解(をとる) | Toolbars | Form 支配(する)/統制するs. If "Form 支配(する)/統制するs" doesn't have a tick in 前線 of it, click on it. It may not be ドッキングする/減らす/ドックに入れるd as below (but you can change that by simple dragging. By the way, don't let the 指名する fool you: The toolbar doesn't let you 支配(する)/統制する (verb) the form. It 供給(する)s 支配(する)/統制するs (noun) that you may wish to place on a form you are designing.
You need the button that is second from the left on the Open Office 3.1 Form 支配(する)/統制するs 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業... a 始める,決める-square and pencil. It will be identified as "Design 方式 On/ Off" if you hover the mouse pointer over it.
The "Design 方式 On/ Off" item in the toolbar is a toggle... it can be "up" or "負かす/撃墜する". Clicking it changes your 環境 between the two possible 明言する/公表するs:
"Ordinary" ooWriter work is done in the "normal" (design 方式 off) 明言する/公表する. You may, of course, 請け負う some "design" work during normal 操作/手術s, e.g. changing the font of your text.... but this is not what OpenOffice is talking about when it speaks of "design 方式".
When we are in OpenOffice's design 方式, we can 追加する things to the "文書" which change it from a mere "piece of paper" with 令状ing and graphics on it. We very 速く arrive at something which is almost a Windows "program", or "使用/適用".
In this tutorial, we're going to create something やめる simple. But getting to the point of 存在 able to do that is not trivial. The good news is that once you can do what we're going to do in this tutorial, you will have the basic 技術s to make much more 早い 進歩 with more 重要な 事業/計画(する)s.
Get yourself into "design 方式". The "Design 方式 On/ Off" icon will have a 国境 and a background. Many other icons on the toolbar will become "more 利益/興味ing"... have colors, etc, to show that they are no longer 無能にするd.
Find the "Check Box" icon. (At one point, it was the fifth icon in the illustration above.) Click on it, so that it is "負かす/撃墜する". Then move your mouse pointer to over the "piece of paper" you have on the 審査する. 圧力(をかける) your mouse button 負かす/撃墜する, keep it 負かす/撃墜する, move the pointer about 3 cm to the 権利 and 1 cm 負かす/撃墜する the page... you should see a box "drag out". 解放(する) your mouse button, and a checkbox labeled "Check Box" should be 明白な on your "piece of paper", which I will henceforth call your "form", the OO 指名する for the "thing" we are working with. (That 技術 is called "dragging out" a new item on the form.)
Just before we proceed: A 事柄 of terminology. I'm going to call the "check box" a "tick box", and the little 示す a "tick", rather than a "check". The word "check" is used too often as a verb, and using it as a noun 同様に can lead to 混乱.
Click on the "Design 方式 On/ Off" icon to leave design 方式... many of the icons in the Form 支配(する)/統制する toolbar will lose their colors. Try clicking on the checkbox on your form. A tick 示す should appear and disappear when you click in the 権利 place. Wow! (but that's a start!)
Save your "page" (form), just as you would if it 単に had text on it. Put it in a folder of it's own... this is just a little practice 演習, so keep all the "捨てるs" from it together, so they can be discarded easily later. Call the 文書 "fdb6macro1a" (FreeDataBase, tutorials section *6*, MACROs lesson 1, 文書 "A"). (Often you can call things what you want to call them. Use my 指名する for this one. You can call its folder whatever you wish.)
ARGHH!!! I can't believe how difficult something VERY SIMPLE is turning out to be!
ALL I 手配中の,お尋ね者 was a little something simple to change the label on that check box. NOT A LOT TO ASK. 井戸/弁護士席, after several hours, here it is!!! I hope you stick with this tutorial, because as hard as that is, it is nothing compared to what it took me to create it for you! Also.... I have 設立する many times over the years that getting started in any 計算するing 仕事 is by far the hardest 障害物. Once you can do what is in this tutorial, you will be "half way there" to LOTS of good stuff....
Here's the 大型の it took me so long to FINALLY get 権利. In a moment, you'll only need to copy/paste!
REM ***** BASIC ***** Sub Main 薄暗い oThisDoc As 反対する 薄暗い oForms as 反対する 薄暗い oForm as 反対する 薄暗い oCheckBox As 反対する oThisDoc = thisComponent.getDrawPage() oForms =oThisDoc.getForms() oForm = oForms.getByName("基準") oCheckBox = oForm.getByName("CheckBox") if oCheckBox.明言する/公表する =1_ then oCheckBox.Label = "Ticked"_ else oCheckBox.Label = "Not Ticked" End Sub
We'll 分析する what's there in 予定 course.
Two little hassles first. If you are using OpenOffice 3.1, that should work. If you are using OpenOffice 3.2, change the last part of the....
oForm = oForms.getByName("基準") oCheckBox = oForm.getByName("CheckBox")
...lines to....
oForm = oForms.getByName("Form") oCheckBox = oForm.getByName("Check Box 1")
There ARE spaces, and the "1", in what you need for the second line, under 見解/翻訳/版 3.2. No spaces (or "1") in the 見解/翻訳/版 for 3.1. This all arises from a more general problem we will discuss later.
Don't 落ちる to 誘惑 to be clever and 追加する....
if oCheckBox.Label = "Ticked"_ then oCheckBox.明言する/公表する =1_ else oCheckBox.明言する/公表する =0
(That part of the big picture is built in どこかよそで, and if you 追加する it here to make "Run BASIC" work, when invoked by 手渡す, things will get all messed up later.)
Remember that I 警告するd you earlier that there are several answers to most questions. What I am going to do here has プロの/賛成のs and 反対/詐欺s, but I'll spare you those 詳細(に述べる)s for now. Just don't worry if something 衝突s with other things you know.
Go to the menu 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業 of the window with your ooWriter 文書. Click 道具s | 大型のs | 組織する 大型のs | OpenOffice.org Basic
On the left is a window "大型の from" 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)ing several places 大型のs can be. Click on the "+" in 前線 of our 文書. (It will be 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)d as "fdb6macro1a" if you saved it with the 指名する I told you to use.) That should 明らかにする/漏らす a folder called "基準". Click on it.
Now click the "New" button, to create the 爆撃する for a new 大型の, and 指名する it "fdb6checkbox".
You should get the に引き続いて 骸骨/概要....
REM ***** BASIC ***** Sub Main End Sub
Use copy/paste to fill in the 構成要素 between "Sub Main" and "End Sub", using the 構成要素 現在のd earlier. (Yes, the "_" that you see at the ends of some lines should be there. Several 論理(学)の "lines" have been 分裂(する) across several physical lines to make them 平易な to read, to save you having to scroll horizontally. The 強調するs "glue" the parts of each line together.)
Save what you have, before anything goes wrong. You can either use the "save" in the main window, or the 大型の editor window's menu's とじ込み/提出する | Save. (Using the latter spares you leaving the 大型の editor's window.)
(I had a 報告(する)/憶測 from someone using oo 3.2 that they got a "no such element" exception in a moment. If you are using 3.1 everything here should Just Work!! If you are using 3.2, the....
"oCheckBox = oForm.getByName("CheckBox")
....line may 原因(となる) a problem. More on this in a moment.)
Don't have too high 期待s yet! Things may not work as you may be assuming they will! Just hang in there, follow this through carefully.
Get your windows arranged so that you can see the 大型の, and the form you created earlier. Of that, you only need to be able to see the checkbox and the text next to it. Make 確かな you are not in the form design 方式. (If you are in form design 方式, clicking on the tick box will 単に select the whole 支配(する)/統制する, not change the tick 示す.)
Just below the menu in the 大型の's window, there's a green triangle icon, tooltip "Run BASIC". Click it. If the caption 同意しないd with the 明言する/公表する of the tick box before you clicked the "Run BASIC" button, you should have seen the caption on the checkbox change to "Ticked" or "Not Ticked" as appropriate.
(If you get the "no such element" exception, go 支援する into the form design 方式, 権利 click on the tick box, choose "支配(する)/統制する" from the pop up menu, go to the "General" tab, if you aren't already there. Look at the first line, "指名する". Make it "CheckBox", if it isn't that already. (If it isn't, please send me an email, telling me what ooBase 3.2 made it by default? Or if the 指名する already is "CheckBox", and you are getting the "no such element" exception anyway, please tell me... epecially if you know the cure??!!))
Change the 明言する/公表する of the tick box, by 手渡す, i.e. by clicking on the tick 示す's box. THE CAPTION WILL NOT CHANGE (yet). Again by using the green triangle icon on the 大型の's window, run the 大型の. The caption SHOULD change now, to make the check box's 明言する/公表する and the caption match. But the caption won't change again until you again, by 手渡す, change the 明言する/公表する of the tick 示す. Then running the 大型の (by 手渡す) will change the caption.
Whew! Not done yet, but believe it or not, we're a long way 負かす/撃墜する the road.
Re-save the 大型の, just to be on the 安全な 味方する. (That's really just the same thing as saving the 文書, even if you invoke the "save" from the 大型の editing window. The way we are doing this, (it is not the only way), the 大型の is "inside" the ooWriter 文書.)
The tick box caption and tick 示す should change when you click on the "Check Box" ... and it will! You won't even need to have the 大型の editor window open.
Use 見解(をとる) | Toolbars from the menu of your ooWriter 文書 to make sure that the form design toolbar is switched 明白な.
The "Design 方式 On/ Off" button on this toolbar is just a duplicate of the one you were using earlier; it isn't different. Make sure your form is in design 方式, so that the icons are colored.
The form design toolbar has a "form 航海士" icon. It is a window with a tiny compass. Fifth icon on the OO 3.1 toolbar. (Don't 混乱させる it with the more general "航海士" (just a compass) icon you may be familiar with.)
Click the Form 航海士 icon to bring up a Form 航海士 window which will show the elements of your form. You may need to click on "+" 調印するs to open the lower 支店s of the tree. When you've made it 明白な, 権利-click on the "CheckBox" item, click on "所有物/資産/財産s", and a やめる busy window will open, with three tabs: General, Data, and Events. Click on the "Events" tab. (By the way... you can also 接近 this window by 権利 clicking on the check box and clicking "支配(する)/統制する", if it is not already ticked. (If it IS ticked, the check box's 所有物/資産/財産s window should already be showing somewhere on your 審査する... as long as you are in the Design 方式. But the Form 航海士 is useful for seeing the 反対する 階層制度s, and for getting at things you can't さもなければ easily reach.))
Hopefully, you are now looking at the check box's Events... "When 始めるing...", etc.
Find the "Mouse button 解放(する)d" line. To the 権利 of that is a text box, and to the 権利 of that is an ellipsis ("...") on a button. Click that button.
In the window that 続いて起こるs, click on the "大型の" button below the "割り当てる:" label, over in the upper 権利 手渡す corner of the window.
認める the things in the "Library" パネル盤? They are what you saw earlier when you created your 大型の. Click the "+" by "fdb6macro1a.odt", and then the "+" by the "基準" which then appears, and your should see "fdb6checkbox" in the "Library" パネル盤. Click on that, and you should see "Main" in the "大型の 指名する" パネル盤, and it should be selected. Click "承認する" to say that you want to 割り当てる that 大型の to that EVENT, and click "承認する" to の近くに the parent window, too.
Save your 文書. (I have to 収容する/認める: 地雷, once, went a bit "nuts" around now... but 結局, without changing anything I've told you, things settled 負かす/撃墜する. It just took a few cycles of の近くにing the 文書, re-開始 it, re-doing what I thought I'd done. And the next time I worked through this tutorial, from scratch, it didn't go nuts.)
And now.... I hope!!!.... your "文書" (or is it a very, very simple "使用/適用"?) WORKS! I.e. you can tick or untick the check box, and each time you do, the caption changes to a description of the check box's 明言する/公表する.
"Wow!" (I hear you say, derisively.)
信用 me... that simple little 演習, which I could do for you from what lies above in about 2 minutes, took HOURS to get RIGHT, and it took me years of using Open Office to get to where I could EVER get there, ever find the 権利 bits at oooForum.org to 人物/姿/数字 out the MANY mistakes that I 除去するd from my first 試みる/企てる to create that pathetic little 成果/努力.
In the stuff that we've done so far, there are a number of things you need to notice
*** There are many places where I've chosen a 指名する for something. In other places, I've 許すd OpenOffice's choice to stand. 明白に, I chose the 文書's 指名する, the 大型の "folder"'s 指名する, and the 大型の's 指名する. いっそう少なく 明白に, "Button" is the 指名する of our PushButton. There are other things which have "frozen" 指名するs, e.g. "MsgBox" is "built into" the system, is reserved, and cannot be changed.
*** The language is 事例/患者 極度の慎重さを要する. Change "Button" to "button" in some places and the program stops working. There are some things you CAN type in any 事例/患者, but if in 疑問... use the "権利" 事例/患者... 特に for 指名するs of things. Remember this when you come to use 大型のs in 関係 with databases. If you want to do something with the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する "Status", then you can't 言及する to it as "status".
*** Be 感謝する for the "syntax 最高潮の場面ing" that the 大型の editor 供給するs. The colors help you see what the computer will make of something. Type REM and a space in 前線 of one of the lines. See the color disappear? The REM has turned the line into a REMark... ignored by the system. If "類似の" lines don't have 類似の colors, they are not as 類似の as you think they are. By the way: Another way to make something a 発言/述べる: Put an apostrophe in 前線 of it.
*** The lines....
if oCheckBox.明言する/公表する =0 _ then oCheckBox.Label = "Ticked"_ else oCheckBox.Label = "Not Ticked"
... gave me grief. See the 強調する at the end of the first two lines? That is necessary to "glue" the 審査する lines (3) into a 選び出す/独身 "論理(学)の line". ooBasic is temperamental about where you start new lines. 公式文書,認める that there can be no space after the 強調する, or it won't "count".
*** 反対するs and Methods
You are working in an 反対する oriented 環境. There is much more about this in the page I wrote introducing OOP and events.
調書をとる/予約するs have been written on the meaning of "working in an 反対する oriented 環境", but you will 結局 build your しっかり掴む of the 関わりあい/含蓄s. The Wikipedia article is good, if you have no idea of OOP (反対する oriented programming).
In our checkbox 大型の, we have worked with 反対するs.
Forget about computers for a moment, and think about a dog. A dog is an 反対する. That "反対する" is made up of other 反対するs: 長,率いる, 脚, tail, etc. Each of those are made up of 反対するs... for instance, the hind 脚 has femur, tib/fib, and paw. The paw has toes and claws.
反対するs have "所有物/資産/財産s". いつかs a 所有物/資産/財産 can be 始める,決める at a high level. The color of my favorite Labrador is 黒人/ボイコット. I can say that the "dog" 反対する is "黒人/ボイコット", and I am done. The 脚, paw and toe 反対するs "相続する" their color 所有物/資産/財産s from the higher level 反対するs. In another 産む/飼育する of dog, the colors of the different parts might be different.
We 港/避難所't done a lot with the 所有物/資産/財産s of the 反対するs in our 大型の yet, but their 所有物/資産/財産s are half of the story of 達成するing our goals. We've changed the check box 反対する's "label" 所有物/資産/財産 from "Ticked" to "Not Ticked" (and 支援する). We did that on the basis of the "明言する/公表する" 所有物/資産/財産.
The check box 反対する was part of the form 反対する called "基準", which was part of the "Forms" 反対する of the 文書 反対する. The Form 航海士 is a guide to the 反対するs 現在の in our 事業/計画(する).
The other half of the story of OOP is methods. Methods are things that 反対するs can do. To stretch the analogy a bit, a "dog" 反対する has a "jump" method, a "run" method, a "sleep" method. I suppose you could say that the dog's throat 反対する has a "bark" method.
"thisComponent" is an 反対する that always 存在するs when you work with ooWriter, indeed, I think, when you work with any Open Office module. We used the getDrawPage method when we said....
oThisDoc = thisComponent.getDrawPage()
公式文書,認める the way that is written. The に引き続いて is what that says....
Into the 反対する we created called oThisDoc, put what comes 支援する if you invoke the getDrawPage method of the 反対する 現在/一般に 言及/関連d by thisComponent.
In other words, you might 令状 a program to call for a dog to bark as follows....
oAnimal="Fido" oPartToUse=oAnimal.getByName("Throat") oPartToUse.Bark="Welcome" oPartToUse.doBark
We put WHICH dog we 手配中の,お尋ね者 to use in oAnimal.
We put which part of that dog we 手配中の,お尋ね者 to use in oPartToUse. getByName is a "method" in my "animal programming" world.
We 始める,決める the "bark" 所有物/資産/財産 to 決定する what sort of bark Fido would 放出する.
We called the doBark method to get the bark
公式文書,認める that while oPartToUse.Bark 言及するs to a 所有物/資産/財産, oPartToUse.doBark invokes a method. This "ambiguity" isn't as hard to live with as you might think.
Look through the code for our 大型の "Main" again.
The 薄暗い... lines 宣言する variable we are going to use. The "As..." part 許すs the 大型の to 始める,決める aside the necessary 資源s for a variable of the type we need.
The four lines from "oThisDoc = thisComponent.getDrawPage()" 演習 負かす/撃墜する into our 文書, to 接近 the checkbox. They are a bit like moving from dog to 脚 to paw to claw. By the end of those lines, we have the checkbox "in" oCheckBox. We've "got ahold" of it.
The next three lines.....
if oCheckBox.明言する/公表する=0 _ then oCheckBox.Label = "Ticked"_ else oCheckBox.Label = "Not Ticked"
... as discussed before are "one" line, as far as ooBasic is 関心d, thanks to the "_" at the ends of the first two lines. oCheckBox.明言する/公表する is a 所有物/資産/財産 of the check box oCheckBox 言及するs to. It is 0 or 1, depending on whether a tick is 現在の in the box. When we say "if oCheckBox.明言する/公表する=0", we are looking at the 反対する, and asking what the 所有物/資産/財産's 現在の 明言する/公表する is. If we were to say "oCheckBox.明言する/公表する=0" in a different 状況, e.g. without the "if", we could change the 明言する/公表する of the check box, we would 除去する the tick.
(In a その後の 大型の, I was able to 分裂(する) the if... then.. across several lines without the 強調するs. Not sure why. Even in that 大型の, if I 手配中の,お尋ね者 to 分裂(する) a long 薄暗い 声明 with a carriage return I had to use the 強調する.)
Still reading? 井戸/弁護士席 done! That sort of stuff is very 注目する,もくろむ-glazing. You need to read it and 類似の again and again. The worse it gets, the closer you will be to the 打開. Remember learning to ride a bike? If you don't know how, it seems impossible. Try, try, and try again and suddenly you flip into the "I can do this. I will always be able to do it. Why couldn't I yesterday?" 明言する/公表する.
So. All 元気づけるd up, and happy again. Good. You need to be.
In another essay I said that methods were half of OOP and 所有物/資産/財産s were the other half? They are. But to work with 大型のs, you have to master two things: OOP and event.
Happily, are easier to master than OOP.
Windows and Linux are both event driven operating systems. When you have a 文書 on the 審査する, the computer isn't just waiting for you to 圧力(をかける) the next 重要な on the keyboard, as it might have been in "the good old days".
For a start, you may not only have the 文書 open, your email program may be running, and you may have it 始める,決める up to check your mailbox from time to time, and 通知する you of new mail. Your computer's time-of-day clock is certainly ticking away. The computer (more 特に, the operating system) is "watching" both the keyboard and the mouse to see if you are 圧力(をかける)ing 重要なs or moving or clicking the mouse.
Everything hinges on "events". 圧力(をかける)ing a 重要な gives rise to an event. Moving the mouse 生成するs at least one event, かもしれない several.
The operating system (OS) is continually watching for events. When it sees one, it checks the 明言する/公表する of sundry 関連した 所有物/資産/財産s, and invokes an event handler to 答える/応じる to the event.
There are 得点する/非難する/20s of events which you can forget about. We'll come to them 簡潔に in a moment. But if you produce a 大型の, you will probably make it be the event handler for something. In the "Hello World" 大型の tutorial, the 大型の was the event handler for what should be done if the mouse button was clicked when the mouse pointer was over the button we put on our page. (See what I meant a moment ago when I said the OS "checks the 明言する/公表する of 関連した 所有物/資産/財産s"?) The OS checked to see where the mouse was when it was clicked, and only invoked the message showing 大型の when the mouse was over our button.
What about those events we can forget about? They are in two 部類s....
** Events like the one that watches the "tick tock" 深い within the OS and changes the time of day 陳列する,発揮するd on the 審査する once a minute
** Events which, for now, we are happy to have the OS を取り引きする in the "ordinary" way. We may change their handler 結局, but for now "the ordinary" is 十分な.
One last thing to think about: the 階層制度 of 反対するs. Remember dog-脚-paw-claw? Just as 所有物/資産/財産s (e.g. color) can 適用する at different levels, and be 相続するd downward, so to can event handlers. An "event" that the dog "OS" might be 始める,決める up to 扱う is "poke", i.e. the dog might 井戸/弁護士席 have a 返答 to 存在 poked. Now, you might have a high level "poke" handler, and dog.poke would get a 確かな 返答. And that 返答 could be the same, whether you poked the dog or poked his 脚. However, the dog (and your Open Office 文書) can have different handlers at different level. While dog.poke and 脚.poke might elicit the same 返答, 注目する,もくろむ.poke might have its own, special handler, the dog might 答える/応じる 異なって if poked there.
I hope you've already inferred what I'm about to say, but just to be explicit: We "told" the operating system to use our 大型の "Main" when we 接近d the events tab of the checkbox's "所有物/資産/財産s". (That window really せねばならない be called "所有物/資産/財産s and Event Handlers"!) Don't worry about all the 所有物/資産/財産s and events you see... you only need to understand a handful of them to do lots and lots of "good stuff".
井戸/弁護士席.... I'm exhausted, and I 嫌疑者,容疑者/疑う you are too. This started so innocently. And then, as 計算するing things so often do, it took on a life of its own. Thank you for reading. I hope your 成果/努力 will 得る 相応した rewards. If you can just get past the "getting started" stuff, there is so much fun to be had!
When you've 回復するd from working your way through the above, "reward" yourself! If you are an ooBase 使用者, discover how 大型のs can be used with ooBase in my tutorial on that 支配する.
I was wrong to encourage you to use "GetByName". There are さまざまな problems with that. But it is a simple approach that is accessible to people with little experience of 大型の programming... like me. I believe there are fancy ways to get 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)s of what's in the 文書, and work 直接/まっすぐに with those computer-gathered 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)s. Maybe one day I'll master those 技術s. In the 合間, I am 攻撃を受けやすい to problems like having to 含む the text above about "use CheckBox if you are using OO 3.1, but Check Box 1 if you are using OO 3.2". Oh 井戸/弁護士席, if it was 平易な, everyone would be doing it.
As a reward(?) for those who've diligently, doggedly read so far... here's a bit of weirdness. The に引き続いて 現実に 作品... not that I recommend it!!
薄暗い oThingie as 反対する Sub AnotherWay oThingie=thisComponent.getdrawpage()_ .getforms()_ .getbyname("基準")_ .getbyname("CheckBox") oThingie.label="Bad idea" End Sub
A couple of serious points arise, even from such frivolity.
You must enter "基準" and "CheckBox" (if those are the 指名するs you have for those (独立の)存在s in your 文書. They are 事例/患者 極度の慎重さを要する, "基準" or "CHECKBOX" won't do. But GetByName, getbyname or gETbYnAME do all seem to work.
Where the "_" character 作品 to 分裂(する) a long program line across several 審査する lines will and won't work seems a little hard to 決定する. If in 疑問... start with a long 審査する line, get that working, and then break it up as best you can. You can't put 主要な spaces on a line to indent it.
THERE! This tutorial done at last! Go take a break!
I dislike 'fancy' websites with more 関心 for a flashy 外見 than for good content. For a pretty picture, I can go to an art gallery. Of course, an attractive 場所/位置 WITH content deserves 賞賛する... as long as that pretty 直面する doesn't cost download time. In any 事例/患者....
I am trying to 現在の this 構成要素 in a 判型 which makes it 平易な for you to USE it. There are two 面s to that: The way it is 分裂(する) up, and the way it is 地位,任命するd. See the main 索引 to this 構成要素 for more (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) about the way it is 分裂(する) up, and the way it is 地位,任命するd.
