This page is "browser friendly". Make your browser window as wide as you want it. The text will flow nicely for you. It is easier to read in a 狭くする window. With ooBase it is 平易な to 始める，決める up a field which automatically increments. This is often done for a 最初の／主要な 重要な's field. Every time a new 記録，記録的な／記録する is started, the field's value is filled in with the number one larger than the number in the 以前 created 記録，記録的な／記録する; the 使用者 doesn't have to do anything. ooBase calls this "AutoValue". As far as I know, in ooBase only an integer type field can be made to do this. It is turned on or off with the "AutoValue" 所有物／資産／財産 for the field. I abhor conflating verbs and adjectives わずかに more than I abhor ungainly neologisms, so I will be using "自動車-increment" and "自動車-incremented", to 避ける convoluted 表現s. I will also 令状 them both with and without the hyphen, to help search engines find this page with either "（一定の）期間ing".
Usually the number will "mean" not much, just as the serial number on bank 公式文書，認めるs doesn't mean much. In both 事例／患者s, they 単に serve to tell one instance of the item in question from another.
In other 事例／患者s, you may be able to make the number in the 自動車-incremented field meaningful. For example, if the field were for an invoice number, you might want to have the invoices for your first year of 貿易（する）ing run from 1000 上向きs, for your second year from 2000 上向きs, etc.
To do this, you would re-始める，決める the start value for the 自動車-incremented field as the year changes. Ideally, you would do this between entering the last 記録，記録的な／記録する in the old invoices series and entering the first of the new 記録，記録的な／記録するs. However, you can indulge in "by 手渡す" fudging of the numbers, if necessary.
The に引き続いて 決まり文句／製法 assumes that you already have a （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する "Table1" 始める，決める up with an integer type field called "ID", with AutoValue 所有物／資産／財産 始める，決める to "true". It その上の assumes that no 存在するing 記録，記録的な／記録する has an ID value higher than 1999.

The 命令（する）s ("alter", etc.) can be entered as shown, or ALL IN UPPER CASE, (or even iN mIXED cASE!)... but the （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する 指名する and the field 指名する must be entered 正確に／まさに as they are defined in the database; their 指名するs are 事例／患者-極度の慎重さを要する. (You will, of course, have to 代用品，人 the 指名するs of your （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する, your field.)
Re-open the （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する; enter a new 記録，記録的な／記録する. If you gave the 命令（する） above, that 記録，記録的な／記録する's ID field should fill with 1000.
平易な when you know how!
