This page is one of a group about using 大型のs in Open Office. It gives you いっそう少なく help with basic 大型の work than some of the others do. It also has a very 限られた／立憲的な 客観的な. In this tutorial, you will be shown how you can 始める，決める up a button that will do a type of backup for you. It was supposed to be something really simple, but, as ever, 詳細（に述べる）s 現れるd to make things tedious. The basic idea stayed simple. It was making the 操作／手術s 行為／法令／行動する upon the 権利 directory that was tedious. That 面 of the button's 活動／戦闘 has been 演説（する）／住所d at two levels.
This tutorial was written using ooBase 見解／翻訳／版 3.0 on Windows XP, but many things should work the same way under other 地位，任命する 見解／翻訳／版 1 OpenOffice 取り付け・設備s, and under other operating systems. There are some strong 推論する／理由s to move to Open Office 3.1 if you want to use 大型のs with ooBase. Where the difference is important, you will be told.
Let's start by 存在 （疑いを）晴らす about what a 大型の is. A 大型の is a 記録，記録的な／記録するd sequence of 指示／教授／教育s. Anything you can do "by 手渡す" (and more) can be put into a 大型の. If you have some tedious chore that you do over and over, you may want to consider creating a 大型の to 簡単にする your life.
For instance, perhaps to guard against data loss you 持続する three 見解／翻訳／版s of some とじ込み／提出する. Let's say you keep the most 現在の 見解／翻訳／版 in a とじ込み／提出する called "GoodStuff". And let's say that your next older 見解／翻訳／版 is called "GoodStuffDad", and the oldest 見解／翻訳／版 you have is called "GoodStuffGrandad".
From time to time, you....
Under such a 計画／陰謀, from time to time, you will 簡潔に have 同一の contents in "GoodStuffDad" and GoodStuff", but you are always in a position to get 支援する to a 最近の 見解／翻訳／版 of the とじ込み／提出する, should something go horribly wrong while you have "GoodStuff" open for editing.
(This is, by the way, a monstrously コンビナート／複合体 system. It is a good system in some 尊敬（する）・点s, 特に if the backup copies are held on different 貯蔵 装置s, but it would want 自動化するing if you 推定する／予想するd any human to operate it. Having said that... I do use a very 類似の system, by 手渡す, for some of my とじ込み／提出するs.)
If you 手配中の，お尋ね者, you could do all of the above by 手渡す... with all of the attendant chances for typos. Alternatively, you could create a 大型の, and turn the 詳細（に述べる）s of the chore over to your machine.... which is what we're going to do here. You may want to use our final result, but it is more likely to be mostly useful as an illustration of some programming techniques.
First a bit of bad news: To keep things simple, for this tutorial you must work in your 運動's root directory (aka folder, i.e. C:\). Also, the tutorial has a slight "Windows" flavor. But....
Getting past the "must work in root directory" problem is 演説（する）／住所d in a その後の tutorial, and....

The 大型の will have problems if you run it before you have "GoodStuff.txt" and "GoodStuffDad.txt" とじ込み／提出するs on the レコード. This could be taken care of easily enough... 演習 for the student... but I didn't want to clutter the code with "詳細（に述べる）s".
