You may find that the database 含むd in OpenOffice delights you as much as it has me. This page tries to help you use it.

Remember that Open Office, 含むing ooBase, is 解放する／自由な. Don't let that fool you, though. Big organizations, 政治の and 非軍事の, have 可決する・採択するd it as their 基準 office 控訴... and saving million$, but still Getting The 職業 Done. And making things 平易な for 使用者s on different 壇・綱領・公約s... Linux, Mac, Windows all spoken here!

This page is "browser friendly". Make your browser window as wide as you want it. The text will flow nicely for you. It is easier to read in a 狭くする window. With most browsers, 圧力（をかける）ing 加える, minus or 無 while the 支配（する）／統制する 重要な (ctrl) is held 負かす／撃墜する will change the texts size. (大きくする, 減ずる, 回復する to default, それぞれ.) Two （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するs. One Form.

It is rarely a Good Idea to work 直接／まっすぐに with a （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する. Not only is it a Bad Idea, but it is often いっそう少なく convenient than the 訂正する answer: Work with a form, which is based on the （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する... or several （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するs. The に引き続いて will give you an example of doing so.

The good news: You can download the database I am about to "talk" about. The bad news: I'm not going to do much explaining at this time. See if it is self explanatory? Download the database, which I've 指名するd FDB014

Someone asked at the excellent OpenOffice Database 会議 (oooforum.org) how to manage two （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するs from a 選び出す／独身 form. As I had ten important things to do... all unappealing... I took up the challenge.

My シナリオ: I decided that the teachers at Hogwart's might want a way to 記録，記録的な／記録する pupil 軽罪s.

The first （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する, 指名する, has a 指名する field (最初の／主要な 重要な... in my simple world, no two pupils have the same 指名する) and a "House" field. (English schools tend to 割り当てる each pupil to a "house"... いつかs a real （独立の）存在, often just an 行政の fiction.) The "House" field is not used in the example... so far!

The second （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する, "出来事/事件" has the に引き続いて fields...

• IncID... just an 自動車-increment integer, and the 最初の／主要な 重要な
• 指名する
• IncDescr... for "出来事/事件 Description"

The sort of "出来事/事件" this system is designed to 記録，記録的な／記録する is "running in the 回廊（地帯）", "shouting in the dining room", "pulling Hermione's pony tail", etc, etc.

Having 始める，決める up the （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するs, I then 設立するd a 関係 (not join) between 指名する.指名する and 出来事/事件.指名する

(There's more on 関係s and joins in a short(er) page I've done talking about these important 概念s in general 条件. They are not the same thing, but the differences 絶えず blur in my mind, and I hope to help you fight that problem.)

Next, I used the wizard (ooBase wizard, not, 式のs, Rowling wizard) to create my form "EnterIncidents". It has a form with 指名する.指名する and 指名する.House, and a subform with 出来事/事件.IncDescr. Both are 陳列する，発揮するd as datasheets.

Main （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する: 指名する. All fields

Sub-form: 出来事/事件. Based on "出来事/事件" 関係.

Put just IncDescr on subform

陳列する，発揮する both as datagrids

The 指名するs of pupils known to the system are 陳列する，発揮するd in the main form. New 指名するs can be 追加するd.

The form is used as follows...

First the 使用者 selects one of the 指名するs in the first datasheet, or 追加するs a new 指名する.

Once that is done, the second datasheet 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）s any 出来事/事件s a teacher has （刑事）被告 that pupil of committing. And new 出来事/事件s can be 追加するd, and as they are, the pupil's 指名する is filled in on the resulting 記録，記録的な／記録する in 出来事/事件.

If you try the form, and have the （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するs 陳列する，発揮するd while you do it, do not be alarmed if you don't see things you "have 追加するd" appearing in the 陳列する，発揮するs of the underlying （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するs. If you save the 記録，記録的な／記録する you've 追加するd 経由で the form "EnterIncidents", and then 攻撃する，衝突する the "refresh" button on either （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する, the 陳列する，発揮する of what's in the （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する at the moment will be updated. It isn't updated automatically.

Hope that helps... it's all I have time for just now... Go "play" with the database, which you can just download.

Really, really 冷静な／正味の: The 準備／条項s you can make with careful 管理／経営 of the two "cascade" 選択s/所有物／資産／財産s on the link between 指名する.指名する and 出来事/事件.指名する.

If things are 始める，決める up 権利, you can automatically 粛清する the "出来事/事件" （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する of all 出来事/事件s 関心ing a given pupil 簡単に by 削除するing the pupil's 指名する... That will 削除する it from the 指名する （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する, and all of the 出来事/事件 記録，記録的な／記録するs for that pupil... 冷静な／正味の if that's what you want! You can also 始める，決める things up so that a 指名する can't be 除去するd unless there are no 記録，記録的な／記録するs in the 出来事/事件 （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する... a safer design, perhaps.

You can 始める，決める things so that if you change, say, Fred to Freddie, then all of the 出来事/事件s that Fred was 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d with now relate them to Freddie.

Not only are these tricks of relational 正直さ 道具s fun, but they also 保護する the 正直さ (wonder where the 指名する （機の）カム from?) of the data in your （米）棚上げする／（英）提議するs. You can't enter an 出来事/事件 to a "Frde", for instance... not without first creating a "Frde", which you aren't likely to do.

Without the form, you would have to type each 違反者／犯罪者's 指名する each time you put in a new 出来事/事件 記録，記録的な／記録する. With the form, that is taken care of for you.
