You will be shown the basics of producing a database from a spreadsheet with Open Office. Please read the more 包括的な discussion I've written for you if you find the tutorial on this page insufficient for your wants. That is a "proper" explanation.
Written using ooBase 見解/翻訳/版 3.2.1 on Windows XP, but things should work the same way in other Open Office 取り付け・設備s.
This is not a "general" answer to moving data from an Open Office spreadsheet to an Open Office database. We will assume that you have a spreadsheet something like...
The column headings do not need to be in bold, but you should have column headings, and they should be short. (The last one has a space in it... Bad Idea. PostCode would be better, even if not as grammatically 訂正する.)
The contents of each 独房 should be of reasonable length, and 含む/封じ込める nothing "fancy". Open Office is 有能な of 扱うing all sorts of weird and wonderful things, but if you want these "just click this" 指示/教授/教育s to work for you, you have to Keep It Simple.
Don't use commas in the 独房 contents.
To 変える that to a database, do the に引き続いて...
Select the 封鎖する of 独房s defined by A1 and F5
Copy them to the clipboard however you like to do that. Ctrl-C is one way.
開始する,打ち上げる the Open Office database. Perhaps the easiest way from here is to go to the spreadsheet's menu 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業, click "とじ込み/提出する | New | Database"
You should see the Database Wizard, two panes: "Steps" and on the 権利 one 長,率いるd "Welcome to the OpenOffice.org Database Wizard"
Elect "Create a new database", click "Next".
In step 2, say "Yes, 登録(する) it", and "After... saved... open... for editing." Click "Finish" to 遂行する/発効させる your choices under step 2
That should open a normal "Save As" dialog. Save it where you wish. Call it what you want. There are good places and 指名するs, but this is the 限られた/立憲的な guide. Bad choices will "work", up to a point.
From the "Save As" dialog, you should be passed on to the Open Office database main 事業/計画(する) 管理/経営 window.
If "(米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs" is not the selected button in the "Database" column at the left, click on "(米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs".
権利-click in the upper left of the lower 権利-手渡す pane(!) (Under the word "(米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs".)
Click "Paste". (If it is not 利用できる, you did not 後継する in copying the data 支援する when you were looking a the spreadsheet.) That should give rise to....
... with buttons across the 底(に届く), which I edited off to 焦点(を合わせる) on the 必須のs.
The image above shows things ready for the next step. From the default settings, I've 供給(する)d the "(米)棚上げする/(英)提議する 指名する", and ticked the "Create 最初の/主要な 重要な" box.
Click "Next", which should give you....

This dialog is giving you a chance to be selective about which columns from the spreadsheet should be 会社にする/組み込むd as fields in the database. On the left is 利用できる columns. On the 権利, the fields to be created in the database... at the point the screenshot was taken: 非,不,無. You want them all, so click the second button 負かす/撃墜する, the 二塁打 権利-直面するing arrow. You should see all of the column/ field 指名するs move to the 権利 手渡す column. Click "Next".
You probably should, but probably don't have to change the field type for every field except "ID" to "Text[VARCHAR]". (You may find that the field's are already of this type.) You do this by clicking on the field 指名する in the vertical 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) at the 権利, and then working with the field type listbox.
When that's done... click "Create".
That's it! You have created a database (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する from some spreadsheet data!
