In fact, I've written several tutorials with "関係s" (as in "relational database") at their 核心, and so have produced a sub-menu page for these 関係のある essays.
For the sake of this tutorial, we are going to assume you are 利益/興味d in classical music. We're going to build a database of (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) about an number of famous pieces. For each, we're going to have....
Piece's 指名する 作曲家's 指名する 作曲家's date of birth
The 職業 could be done with a 選び出す/独身 (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する. Doing it as we will is slight overkill... but it will illustrate the techniques you would use in a 状況/情勢 where the they were 必須の.
The "trick" is to use 多重の (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs.
We will have one (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する with (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) about 作曲家s: their 指名する and year of birth. There will also be an "ID" field which will 持つ/拘留する a code for the 作曲家, and no two 作曲家s will have the same code. While I can think of no two 重要な 作曲家s with the same 指名する, in many 状況/情勢s, there will be duplications in things like 指名する. An ID field is often necessary or useful, even when it is 単に filled with an 独断的な unique number, as we did for the ID field in the introductory tutorial in which we 始める,決める up our first (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する.
We will have a second (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する with the 指名するs of pieces of music. In this (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する, we will 示す the 作曲家 with the 作曲家 code defined in the first (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する.
You may have already spotted one advantage of this approach: Most 作曲家s are remembered for more than one piece. Instead of typing out their 指名するs 繰り返して, you only need to enter the (shorter) code for the 作曲家 in the 記録,記録的な/記録する for the piece. This also helps 確実にする that you don't introduce variations on the 指名するs, e.g. enter....
You and I would realize those are both by the same 作曲家, but the computer would "see" them as by different 作曲家s.
With these two simple (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs, we will be able to print out 報告(する)/憶測s like....

"So what?" you may ask... but look closely. The (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する starts with a 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) of the pieces from the second (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する. Simple enough... but: against each is 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)d (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) drawn from the second (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する. "Handel, born 1685" appears on two lines in the 生産(高) we want, even though it is in the computer just once.
Even the little example above is enough to illustrate one of the 広大な/多数の/重要な 推論する/理由s for using 多重の (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs. Although "Handel, born 1685" appears twice, it would have been entered into the database only once. In the simpler answer collecting the data, the one with just a 選び出す/独身 (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する, the "Handel, born 1685" would have to be entered twice... and the chance of typos arises. Of course, typos can arise in the two (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する system, too, but at least if "Handel" is misspelt anywhere, it will be misspelt everywhere, easier to notice, and, once noticed, more easily 直す/買収する,八百長をするd.
So! Let's build the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs and the 報告(する)/憶測 to 陳列する,発揮する what's in them.
Start Base, electing to create a new database.
Elect to have the database 登録(する)d, to open the database, but not to create (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs.
Save the database as FDB005 in a folder called FDB005, in a folder called FDB, in your "My 文書s". ("FDB" for "解放する/自由な Data Base")
When the database has been created, you should see the 事業/計画(する) 経営者/支配人 window. (This is the one with three main panes: Database, 仕事s, and a third, かもしれない labeled "Forms" at the moment.) In the pane labeled "Database" (left column) click on "(米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs", and the "Forms" pane should be re-labeled "(米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs".
From "仕事s" click on "Create (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する in design 見解(をとる)..."
A string grid should come up. Fill it in as follows....
CompID / Text[VARCHAR] YOB / Integer[INTEGER] CompName / Text[VARCHAR]
Now go 支援する to the first line (CompID) by clicking on it. In the 所有物/資産/財産s boxes at the 底(に届く) of the 審査する, change the length of CompID to 7. 権利 click on the gray rectangle just to the left of the "CompID", and click on the "最初の/主要な 重要な" choice. Next, we're going to define a 関係 between the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs. It can be done later, after some data has been entered, but if it is, the data in the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs must be okay by the defined 関係, and if you have any typos in the data, you can't define the 関係 until you find and 直す/買収する,八百長をする the typos. (Take my word for it... define 関係s first!) Once the 関係 is defined, you cannot enter 無効の data, which is one of the 推論する/理由s for defining the 関係. (You can still make mistakes, e.g. 説 that Wagner wrote Messiah, but some mistakes become impossible.) (When you have 始める,決める up some 関係s, you may find data 入ること/参加(者) a 苦痛, if you like to, say, do the 作曲家 ID for several 記録,記録的な/記録するs and then go 支援する and fill in other fields for them. If while entering data, you cannot move out of a 記録,記録的な/記録する until every field that is part of some 関係 has something 許容できる in it, you can "cheat", by first giving yourself a "simple 誤った 入ること/参加(者)", something like "x", to 一時的に 満足させる the fields you want to fill in later.)

You can drag the boxes around if the line is "squashed". At the CompID end of the line, you should see a "1", and at the OpCom end of the line, you should see an "n". Don't の近くに the Relation Design window just yet. I'll tell you when it's time.
The line says that there is now a 関係 defined between the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs. It is a "1 to many" 関係. That means that a given value only appears once in CompNameYOB, but it can appear many times in OpusInfo. In other words, there can be more than one 記録,記録的な/記録する in OpusInfo with the same data in their OpCom fields.
An aside: We can say "the CompID field in the CompNameYOB (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する" if we wish. We can, more concisely, say "CompNameYOB.CompID" when we know that method of 明示するing fields.
What's the 関係 good for? We'll see in 詳細(に述べる) later in this tutorial. We'll see that it 妨げるs you from making an 入ること/参加(者) in OpusInfo.OpCom, e.g. "gf1865a", unless that 作曲家 code has been created in CompNameDOB.CompID. The 関係 is also 批判的な to our 全体にわたる goal of 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)ing data from two (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs in a 選び出す/独身 報告(する)/憶測.
By the way: If you don't like defining the 関係s by dragging, you can, from the Relation Design window menu 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業, use 挿入する | Relation. Whichever method you use, be sure that you 始める,決める the 関係 up the 権利 "way around". The "1" must be on the CompNameYOB end of the line signifying the 関係. You can define it the other way around, but you wouldn't then be able to enter sensible data.
権利 click on the line between the boxes signifying the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs. Click on Edit.
Now you can see some 所有物/資産/財産s of the 関係 which weren't evident from the 関係 diagram. You don't need to change any of them just now, but keep them in mind as things you せねばならない learn about 結局. They are 道具s which help keep your data valid. At the moment, if you have, say, Wagner in the CompNameYOB (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する, and a piece by him in the OpusInfo (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する, then you can't change or 削除する CompNameYOB.CompID. This is a good thing. It 確実にするs that every OpusInfo.OpCom 入ること/参加(者) has a corresponding CompNameYOB.CompID 入ること/参加(者). If you change the 関係's "Update 選択s" 所有物/資産/財産 to Update Cascade, then you can change a CompNameYOB.CompID 入ること/参加(者)... and OpusInfo.OpCom 入ること/参加(者)s with the same datum will be changed 同様に... but you won't see that they've changed if you happen to have the OpusInfo (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する open... unless you master その上の tricks. So for now, leave the 選択s 始める,決める to "no 活動/戦闘", which 妨げるs bad data getting into your (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs.
Okay! Now you should の近くに the Relation Design window.
(There's more on 関係s and joins in a short(er) page I've done talking about these important 概念s in general 条件. They are not the same thing, but the differences 絶えず blur in my mind, and I hope to help you fight that problem.

What is the "a" for? If there were two "gf"'s for 1685, then one would be gf1685a, the other gf1685b. The CompID must be different for every 作曲家. You could 簡単に use 独断的な numbers, e.g. "001" for JS Bach, "002" for Stravinsky, "003" for Paul McCartney... but it will be easier to enter the 作曲家 ID codes in the other (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する if they are at least somewhat meaningful.
Now put the に引き続いて into the OpusInfo (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する. 公式文書,認める that the first field, OpusID will be just an 独断的な number, and that the computer will "type" it for you. When you are entering data "for real", there is nothing to stop you from having both (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs open on the 審査する, so that you can 言及する to the CompNameYOB (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する while entering data in the OpusInfo (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する. (Unless you have a very good memory, you will need to check the OpCom codes as you go along... unless you develop this database その上の. It is possible to make a data 入ること/参加(者) form for OpusInfo which puts a listbox in the CompID field. When you go to enter a CompID, you just click on the box and a 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) of the possible codes appears, drawn (by ooBase) from the CompNameYOB (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する.)
Try entering a 作曲家 code that doesn't 存在する, or 単に mis-typing one that does 存在する. Because of the 関係 you defined, you can't enter the data. Want to 追加する a piece by Aaron Copeland? You can, but you have to put him in the CompNameYOB (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する first.
A little re-cap: We now have two (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs with some data about music and 作曲家s. Next, we want to create a 報告(する)/憶測 which draws (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) from both (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs.
Before we try to create the 報告(する)/憶測, we are going to have to create a query. You will be given the 詳細(に述べる)s on a moment. Queries are one of the four cornerstones of database work. In a nutshell, a query creates a new (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する which draws its data from one or more 存在するing (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs. I've also done a quick tutorial introducing queries, which you may want to visit now if the whole idea of queries is new to you... but I will give "keystroke- by- keystroke" 指示/教授/教育s here.

If the CompNameYOB (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する isn't the one showing in the "(米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs" field on the window, change what's there to CompNameYOB.
From the CompNameYOB (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する select the YOB and CompName fields. I.e. get those fields into the "Fields in Query" 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる), the 権利 手渡す pane of the window.
Notice that which step you are on is shown in the window's left 手渡す pane.

You won't need to fiddle with the 偽名,通称s, so click Next again.

We're getting some weird duplication. We see every 作曲家 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)d against every piece of music!

Go to the 事業/計画(する) 経営者/支配人 window which is probably still on your 審査する, and probably showing an 入ること/参加(者) for the CombineTables query. You may have to re-select the Queries 部類 in the 仕事s pane.

That should open a window 肩書を与えるd "CombineTables". In the 最高の,を越す part of it, you should see the two (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs, with their fields. Across the 底(に届く) of the window is a string grid, which we will not be doing anything with. (Whew... there's all sorts of stuff 負かす/撃墜する there!)
Put the mouse pointer on 最高の,を越す of CompID in the CompNameYOB (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する. 圧力(をかける) 負かす/撃墜する and 持つ/拘留する the left mouse button. Move the mouse pointer until it is over the OpCom field in the OpusInfo (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する. 解放(する) the mouse. You should see a line between the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する's boxes. That line 述べるs a join between the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs, for the query. It is やめる like the 関係 that we worked with earlier, but not 正確に/まさに the same thing. I may be misusing the 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語, but I think that such a join (which 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 is used in it's 正確な sense here) is also いつかs called a link. I'm not going to go into the theory and practice of raw SQL code here, but if you want to click 見解(をとる) (in the window's menu 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業), and click on Switch Design 見解(をとる)..., you will be taken over to the SQL for the query we've created.....

That last bit creates the join, I believe. In any 事例/患者, save the edited query specification, の近くに the "CombineTables" 鮮明度/定義 editing window, 二塁打 click again on the "CombineTables" query. Hurrah! A sensible, if 不正に formatted, result! More on this in a moment, but first....
I am going to digress just for a moment....
If you have the same problems I had when getting started with queries, maybe the に引き続いて will help.
The "bad" query we started with a moment ago showed every possible combination of elements from the first (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する with elements from the second (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する.
All queries in SQL (and ooBase is a SQL RDBMS) systems will, under the 肌, be like this... it's just that they are usually useless, and so we 速く get used to "weeding out" the duplicates, leaving us with a useful 始める,決める of the combinations.
Consider for a moment two much simpler (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs. Each has just two fields. The first (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する has three 記録,記録的な/記録するs in it. They 持つ/拘留する 1/a,2/a, and 3/b. (I.e. a 記録,記録的な/記録する with "1" and "a" in it's two fields, a 記録,記録的な/記録する with "2" and "a", and a 記録,記録的な/記録する with "3" and "b". The second (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する has just two 記録,記録的な/記録するs: a / XX and b/ YY.
An "un-weeded", basic, query, 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)ing all of the fields from both (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs, results in....
1/a/a/XX 1/a/b/YY 2/a/a/XX 2/a/b/YY 3/b/a/XX 3/b/b/YY
What is going on? Under the "肌"? I 嫌疑者,容疑者/疑う that in practice, SQL manages to do it more elegantly, but it seems that it starts every query by creating a 抱擁する (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する, 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)ing every possible combination of 記録,記録的な/記録するs from the first (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する with 記録,記録的な/記録するs from the second (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する. That's what you see in the 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) above.
But the 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) of all possible combinations is of little use.
What we need, although it isn't (疑いを)晴らす in the simple 1,2,3/ a,b / XX,YY example, is only a 選択 of the possible combinations of 記録,記録的な/記録するs from the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs. And from those combinations, we probably only want to see selected fields. If you look 支援する to the music /作曲家s example that this tutorial is built around, maybe you can see why I've gone off on this digression? The 初期の "bad" result was the "all combinations" (but showing only some fields) result.
Now bring your mind 支援する to the 1,2,3/ a,b / XX,YY example. The last field in the first (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する is analogous to OpusInfo.OpCom. The first field in the second (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する is analogous to CompNameYOB.CompID
The "sensible", "weeded" result for the 1,2,3/ a,b / XX,YY example would be....
1/a/a/XX 2/a/a/XX 3/b/b/YY
It shows you the 記録,記録的な/記録するs from the "all possible combinations" (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する where the value from the second field of the first (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する matches the value from the first field of the second (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する.
Let me be more 明確な/細部 about how the two examples show the same thing...
You should 扱う/治療する "1" and "2" as the 指名するs of pieces. 扱う/治療する "a" and "b" (in both (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs) as the codes for 作曲家s. 扱う/治療する "XX" and "YY" as their 指名するs, e.g. "Georg Friedrich Handel".
Get it? Never mind... you will! You can leave it for now, if it didn't "click". We're going 支援する to "How to do it...."!
Before my digression, we had finally 達成するd a sensible result.... but it was 始める,決める out in a rather "plain vanilla" way, and had other shortcoming. To get a good result, we now go onward and 始める,決める up a 報告(する)/憶測. The 報告(する)/憶測 will invoke the query, and 現在の the (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) which was in the query result.
In the 事業/計画(する) 経営者/支配人 window, change the 仕事 to "報告(する)/憶測s".
二塁打-click on "Use Wizard to Create 報告(する)/憶測...", and wait a moment... your poor machine has a lot to do. Two things need to open. Wait for the "報告(する)/憶測 Wizard" window, with the steps you are going to work through 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)d 負かす/撃墜する the left 手渡す pane.
One of the strange.. but wonderful, when you get used to it, parts of Open Office is the 統合,差別撤廃 of the elements. ooBase uses ooWriter for designing and 陳列する,発揮するing 報告(する)/憶測s.
When you clicked on "Use Wizard to Create 報告(する)/憶測...", an ooWriter 文書 (機の)カム up, with some basic author (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) in the page's header. Not やめる so quickly, but 結局, the 報告(する)/憶測 design window appeared, too.
In step 1, select Query: CombineTables and move all three of the 利用できる fields to "Fields in 報告(する)/憶測". (The >> "arrow" will do that for you in a 選び出す/独身 click.). Click "Next"
In step 2, you should take a moment to change the labels to something more human friendly, e.g. "Year of Birth", "作曲家's 指名する", "指名する of piece". Click "Next" to move to step 3.
For this 報告(する)/憶測, don't invoke any 配合. When you've run the tutorial as it says to run it, you might like to go 支援する and 調査/捜査する the result of asking for 配合 by CompName. Click "Next" to move to step 5 (You can't sort 報告(する)/憶測s of queries... the sorting for them is 始める,決める up during the query 鮮明度/定義.)
You can 受託する the step 5 defaults.
In step 6, make the 指名する of the 報告(する)/憶測 "Music and its 作曲家s". 受託する "Create 報告(する)/憶測 now".
Either now you should either just 受託する the 示唆するd "Dynamic" 報告(する)/憶測", or read the に引き続いて aside. The tutorial continues in a moment.
Whichever you choose, you will fetch data from the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs as they stand now. If you choose a static 報告(する)/憶測, if you run it again later, after changing data in the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs, the 報告(する)/憶測 will still only show the data as it was at the time you first created the 報告(する)/憶測. If you've chosen to create a dynamic 報告(する)/憶測, then each time you run the 報告(する)/憶測, it will re-協議する the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs, and 現在の you with the (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) as it stands when the 報告(する)/憶測 is run. N.B.: If you happen to have the 報告(する)/憶測 open on your 審査する, and edit some of the data in the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs, the already-open 報告(する)/憶測 will not be updated. You would have to の近くに it and re-run it to see the newly changed values from the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs.
If someone can point me に向かって the 権利 tick box to change an already created 報告(する)/憶測 from "static" to "dynamic", I would be 感謝する.
Here ends the digression on static and dynamic.
The first result with your 報告(する)/憶測 may be やめる unsatisfactory. The 権利 data should be showing, but the way it is laid out may be poor.

Use the 事業/計画(する) 経営者/支配人 to 再開する it in edit 方式.
Don't be alarmed that you see Latin gibberish where you 推定する/予想するd to see data from the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議するs. Nor by the fact that there is only one line of data under the headings in the (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する.
With mouse drags, you can move the の間の-column 境界s to better places, etc. Save your changes, の近くに the 文書. Re-run the 報告(する)/憶測 from the 事業/計画(する) 経営者/支配人.
The first time I went through this 構成要素, the に引き続いて was appropriate at this point. On a その後の trip through the 構成要素 it wasn't... but it still discusses a general "trick" which you may need from time to time, so I'm leaving it in....
If you find that a bunch of the 権利-click 選択s have disappeared, I'm afraid you probably need to の近くに everything, re-boot the computer. Boring, I know. I've just done it. Again. When this happens, it often goes through a "修理" 過程 during the next invocation. I 嫌疑者,容疑者/疑う I am making requests which mess it up. IT DOES WORK, and work 井戸/弁護士席, 一般に!! I 嫌疑者,容疑者/疑う that the 衝突,墜落s I'm seeing arise from putting disallowed things into the 報告(する)/憶測 specification. I'd send 報告(する)/憶測s of my 衝突,墜落s to Sun, but the 衝突,墜落 報告(する)/憶測 module is 衝突,墜落ing, too... after I've struggled to 令状 up the 衝突,墜落!

I hope you've got the column widths arranged as you want them?
Try selecting all three of the column headings (just drag the mouse across them.) Change the typesize to 16, using any technique you would use in ordinary ooWriter word 過程ing. It will 受託する that! Change the font style to bold. Change the font used, e.g. go to Arial. The 報告(する)/憶測 is just an "ordinary" ooWriter 文書.... even if it is using some features of ooWriter that you may not have 遭遇(する)d before. Anything you learn about working with ooWriter 文書s is すぐに a new 道具 you can use in creating "ooBase" 報告(する)/憶測s. This is an example of the 力/強力にする of the tight 統合,差別撤廃 between the parts of OpenOffice.
