From 18 - 28 December 2004, I was on a trip to Costa Rica to learn about the rainforest.. and have a good time! My sister was there a year 以前, and （機の）カム 支援する raving about how tourist-friendly the country is.
My experiences echoed hers, and I would say to anyone: "If you want a 広大な／多数の／重要な holiday in the sun, go to Costa Rica"!
I have no 疑問 that there are many, many nice places you can go. The ones 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）d below are excellent, but are here 簡単に because they were the ones which took care of me. I have to 自白する that I do not travel on $5 a day... but not every 5 星／主役にする hotel can 正当化する the prices it 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s. The hotels below were 井戸／弁護士席 価値（がある） what they 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d. One of the joys of travelling to Costa Rica from the 明言する／公表するs is that your money goes a lot さらに先に than it goes at home.
Hotel Borinquen
This is in the north of the country, on the western 側面に位置するs of Rincon de La Vieja. (近づく Liberia on the 地図／計画する, but 井戸／弁護士席 outside town in reality.)
The owners have carved a luxurious 楽園 out of the ジャングル. If you want "get away from it all", without giving up your 慰安, you could do a lot worse. If all that bliss leaves you feeling a little lethargic, go for a ride on the horses the hotel 供給するs, a swim, a sauna, mud packs from the hotels own 火山の hot spring. Been there, done that? How about zipping 2100feet across a valley not unlike the one in the 早期に scenes of Jurassic Park. I don't know... not sure I want to... how high we were above the valley 床に打ち倒す. (200'? "Enough", anyway!) And the 2100ft run is only the start....
近づく Manuel Antonio 国家の Park, south of San Jose, is the splendid Hotel El Parador. Sloths, squirrel monkeys, white 直面するd monkeys, caracaras, etc, etc, in the hotel grounds! And first class service, food, 施設s. Their web 場所／位置:

Need a hotel in San Jose because you're getting in 早期に or leaving late? We used, and I liked, the Hotel Herradura, about 5 miles from the airport. I couldn't find a web 場所／位置 for them, but the に引き続いて took me to （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） on it. If the link becomes 無効の, just search Google for "hotel herradura" "san jose" (公式文書，認める and 含む the " 示すs.)

There's an excellent バタフライ farm 近づく San Jose where they will tell you many 利益／興味ing things.
