I wrote this page a LONG time ago. I have not re-written it today. Just tided a few 半端物s and ends.
The page puzzles me.. and I wrote it!
I'm guessing that I was trying to give an overview of the Nu-Electronics 製品 line. See the "t.o.c" page (link at 最高の，を越す of this page) for things that will perhaps be more useful.

But don't come away with the idea that you need to buy things from nuelectronics to use the 保護物，者! You don't need a 保護物，者, anyway, do you?
Having said that... if for some 推論する／理由 you don't want the 保護物，者, at these prices, you may want to buy these sensors anyway!
A 詳細（に述べる）: You will see "one wire" and "one wire interface" in the nuelectronics documentation. This is not always connected with "1-Wire" (a Dallas trademark) at all, and even when you are connecting a 1-Wire 装置 to a nuelectronics "one wire" 関係 point, you won't often (ever?) get dragged into some of the more コンビナート／複合体 1-Wire 問題／発行するs. Don't get me wrong... I like 1-Wire... it is powerful. But to get everything you can from 1-Wire gets 危険に の近くに to Serious Work. neElectonics lets you use some of the (marvelous) 1-Wire 装置s without the work! (I have a little 公式文書，認める that says all that again, if you are still 不明瞭な.)
Don't look for the RTC or SD card reader/ writer below. They are integral to the 保護物，者.
Do visit the nuelectronics 場所／位置 if you want technical 詳細（に述べる）s. The 回路・連盟s of what is on each board are given, if you want them. Nuelectronics is not trying to pretend that, say, the DS18B20 sensor is anything terribly clever: It is just a DS18B20 and a pull up resistor, nicely 一括d, at a reasonable price, into something you can just plug into the 保護物，者.
Buzzer: This 会社にする／組み込むs a transistor and a piezo sounder. Draws 力／強力にする from the Arduino's 5v line... but not much! The module has it's own built-in oscillator... so for the 平易な life, all you have to do is pull the input (to the module) high, and you get a remarkably loud (for the module's size and cost) 安定した トン. At the nuelectronics 場所／位置 there is a more コンビナート／複合体 example which may or may not work. If it does, it lets you 生成する トンs of differnt frequencies. I 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑う it is left over from a time when the module didn't have it's own oscillator, and you had to "do things the hard way". About $4 at 7/10. (The 場所／位置's prices are in British 続けざまに猛撃するs, but they 受託する PayPal, and the 装置s are so small that they should travel through the mail without 出来事/事件.)
These MODULES... 平易な to plug in, remember, and, like the buzzer, they can be used 経由で breadboards, too, if you don't want a 保護物，者... cost about $12 each...
DHT11 気温 and 湿度: The 指名する says most of what you need to know. The 気温 will be the 気温 of the sensor, which may be 影響する／感情d by the needs of the 湿度 sensing. It will be a good guide to ambient 気温, but for 正確な 天候 記録，記録的な／記録するing, you might want to use an 付加, separate 気温 sensor.
DS18B20 気温 sensor: A 数字表示式の 装置, with a long and 強健な pedigree. Good for -10 to 85 degrees C.
MQ-3 gas alcohol sensor: Make your own breathalyser.
At 7/10: About $3 each... for the MODULES, not just the sensor.
Light sensor: Uses a small light dependant resistor (LDR).
NTC thermistor: I'd use the other 気温 sensor, for a variety of 推論する／理由s... but one of them is just that I don't know much about thermistors! To me, the slight extra cost is 井戸／弁護士席 価値（がある） the extra 正確. The thermistor will sense -20 to +105 degrees C.
攻撃する switch: Umm... what can I say? Switches when it is 攻撃するd. No 水銀柱，温度計.
IR remote 支配（する）／統制する signal sensor: Lets your Arduino "read" signals from IR remote 支配（する）／統制するs, like the one you turn the TV off with. Nuelectronics will sell you a remote, if you need one. Try one of the ten you already have first... it will probably do!
