Other Photos of 非，不，無-Human Animals

These were 押し進めるd off the "Better Photos" page... but I hope you still find them 価値（がある） perusing. If you see one that you think should 取って代わる something on the Better Photos page, I'd love to hear your thought!

This is an anaconda that 溺死するd in the man's fishing 逮捕する. Anacondas have been know to eat jaguars. Hmmm. Food for thought, though について言及する of the word "food" in this 状況 doesn't help one's peace of mind. They aren't poisonous, anyway!

I saw a （人命などを）奪う，主張する on a TV program that an anaconda can squeeze with a 圧力 of 90 psi. From we learn that "Adults of this 種類 can grow to over 9 メーターs in length. For it's length, it is much heavier than other large constrictors, and so if 負わせる and length are both considered, Green Anacondas are the largest snakes in the world." Do the arithmetic: Take a snake half that size, about 14 feet. Assuime that it has half its length wrapped around something. Assume (保守的な!) that the width of the snake 団体／死体, as it 圧力（をかける）s on 犠牲者, is 4". (Wish that you'd started all this in metric 対策.) Total 軍隊適用するd: about 15 トンs. A "piece" of lead, with a 1 square foot 足跡, about 30 feet high 圧力（をかける）s 負かす／撃墜する about this hard. Let's say the TV people 誇張するd by a factor of 10. Get inside the coils of a medium sized anaconda and feel the squash of 3 feet (x 1 foot, x 1 foot) of lead. Hmm².

There's some more （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） for you on the University of Michigan's page^el, if you want to go there. (The courtship （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） is amusing.)

The University of Michigan 場所／位置 paints a more reasonable, if いっそう少なく exciting picture of the animal. There's no について言及する of 殺人，大当り jaguar. It also says.... {begin 引用するs}:

"The 犠牲者 of an anaconda is seldom 鎮圧するd, the snake only squeezes hard enough to 妨げる its 犠牲者 from breathing."... and....

"Since it takes a long time to digest its food, an anaconda is often very docile after a meal and usually spends its time just lying in the sun along a river bank."... Ahhhh... 甘い.... and....

"....will attack any vertebrate that they can catch and swallow, 特に fish, amphibians, other snakes, and 哺乳動物s such as capybara. Small individuals may climb trees to （警察の）手入れ，急襲 bird nests, and the largest 見本／標本s have been known to attack caimans, small deer, and peccaries. There are few 記録，記録的な／記録するs of attacks on humans, and no 記録，記録的な／記録するd deaths." (My 強調.) {End of 引用するs}

A final thought on the "犠牲者s seldom 鎮圧するd" 観察. I wonder if, with a large meal, whether the snake may exceptionally take advantage of it's ability to 鎮圧する to make chests, or shoulder or pelvic 地域s more gullet-friendly?

This lizard may never have been within 50 feet of the ground. It lives in the upper parts of the forest canopy, which we were able to 接近 easily thank's to Explorama's walkway.

孤児 baby 巨大（な） ant eater... these are not just animals of the savannah.

Bushmaster, the "one step" snake. You get to take one step after you are bitten. Besides 存在 poisonous, this and the fer-de-lance are said to be 積極的な. Both are sources of work for the wonderful アマゾン医療の事業／計画（する）, in 新規加入 to the important preventative care they dispense. US taxpayers can get a deduction for helping their important work.

Three toed sloth. These were 公正に／かなり abundant... but it takes 技術d and practiced 注目する，もくろむs to find them, even when "in plain sight" like this one. We were very lucky in one of our boatmen, who could not only make his （手先の）技術 cross 乾燥した，日照りの land (AND get us 支援する to where we had started... no mean feat...), but also spotted perhaps most of the things we saw... certainly many of the most exciting things. (Thank you Jonny!!)

Sadly, not a very good photo, I 恐れる, but the album would be incomplete without some image of the famous pink イルカs, living, along with the other sort, over 2000 miles from the ocean. This one is 長，率いるd 権利, you can just make out his snout in 前線 of his fore-長，率いる.

Hoatzin: a very "原始の" bird, in 生物学の条件.. but it does have a unique (in birds) special adaptation: 予定 to its four stomachs, and 居住（者） bacteria, it can 利益 from the energy in the cellulose of the 工場／植物s it eats... in other words, it 栄養 has a lot in ありふれた with cows.

This is a 親族 of the electric "eel". (Which isn't, by the way, an eel.) It too sends electricity into the water, though not as much. the water is very silty. The fish can feel the changes in the electric field 原因（となる）d by other things swimming by, and hence can find dinner. To 簡単にする過程ing the （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状）, it keeps it's 団体／死体 straight all the time, and swims by rippling a wave 負かす／撃墜する the large ventral fin.

Fer De Lance, the "two step" snake. You get to take two steps after you are bitten, i.e. わずかにいっそう少なく poisonous than the bushmaster, the "one-step" snake.
