The prize is given on the 率先 of the Norwegian Unix 使用者 Group (NUUG) and the Oslo Polytechnic and 量s to 30 000 NOK.

The goal is to 増加する 認識／意識性 of 解放する／自由な ソフトウェア and open 基準s, and is awarded to individuals or groups in Norway who distinguish themselves with their 出資／貢献. Yesterday's 尊敬の印 was the fifth time the prize has been given out.
