ODF 提案するd to become Malaysian 基準 by year-end 2006

Hasannudin Saidin, 経営者／支配人, 政府 Programs at IBM Malaysia Sdn Bhd, blogged on July 18, "Today, Yoon 道具 and I, together with another fellow blogger here, Ditesh, each of us 代表するing different organizations, were part of another historic SIRIM TC4 会合, because the 会合 now 全員一致で 投票（する）d YES to proceed with the "事業／計画（する）" for ODF (now ISO/IEC 26300) to be made a Malaysian 基準 (acronym "MS")."

There has been comment in the マスコミ about a 報告（する）／憶測 on a French language website: "Le minist?re de la D?fense met OpenOffice ? l'索引"

The ZDNet article （人命などを）奪う，主張するs to 述べる the 訴訟／進行s of a confidential 会合 within the French public 行政. It is not appropriate for the OpenOffice.org community to comment on a 漏れる from a 私的な 会合. However, one of the people について言及するd in the article, Eric Filiol, has 地位，任命するd two replies to the online article 明らかにするing the 目的 of the 研究 and 訂正するing some of the incorrect 結論s in the 初めの article.

Asian CJK Group 発表するd

On the 17th of July 2006, the Chinese, Japanese and Korean native-language 事業／計画（する）s of OpenOffice.org have decided to join 軍隊s to form the Asian CJK Native-Language Group of OpenOffice.org. Kazunari Hirano will 行為／法令／行動する as the communications & technical 調整者／コーディネーター of the group.

This group will 許す these three 事業／計画（する）s to 株 experiences on ありふれた L10N and I18N 問題／発行するs and pool some ressources such as the work on some parts of QA. In the mean time, this group will also foster 共同 between the three 事業／計画（する）s on a marketing level, helping the spread of OpenOffice.org all over Asia.
