Developers' life is much easier now than it was in 1.x times. Much easier. We have EIS, child workspaces, we can do QA etc. The 開発過程 is open in several 面s. There are dark places though.
In his 贈呈, Pavel will talk about his experiences with developer milestones, his build system and about his findings about 過程s of Hamburg RE. He will bring several 利益／興味ing (and 潜在的に相反する) questions. Could public tinderbox help Sun engineers identify 可能性のある衝突s between Sun build 環境 and community 環境? Can community member change the community build 環境 without changes in Sun build 環境? How can the member of community 直す／買収する，八百長をする P1 build 問題／発行するs 効果的に? More milestones a week: can we follow them at all? Master 直す／買収する，八百長をするs and moving tags after the milestone is ready: should it be 発表するd?
Sun only child workspaces and their 影響 on the 開発過程 (bugs in Sun 内部の bug 跡をつけるing system, description of child workspace vs. every change in CVS).

Biography: Pavel Janík is long time 使用者 and developer of GNU/Linux and 解放する／自由なソフトウェア使用／適用s, member of GNU 事業／計画（する）. He is a member of OpenOffice.org Community 会議, OpenOffice.org 工学 Steering 委員会, co-lead of l10n 事業／計画（する） and lead of Czech Native-Language 事業／計画（する）. He 供給するs 正規の／正選手 builds of 開発 milestones for more than 20 languages and GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows and MacOS X operating systems.
In his other life, he is an 独立した・無所属顧問 working for さまざまな public and 政府 companies, 機関s and 会・原則s in Czech 共和国 and EU.

Entering the OOo Community

The 目的（とする） of this 開会／開廷／会期 is to give a general overview of the 事業／計画（する）s and its organization, but also tips to enter into a 事業／計画（する）.
This 開会／開廷／会期 will have 3 axes in a first time :

the 全体にわたる事業／計画（する） structure (受託するd, Incubator, NLC, CC) and its communication flow
the organization inside a 事業／計画（する） and how the NLC could be a 橋（渡しをする） between the 開発事業／計画（する） and the NL 事業／計画（する）, keeping people in touch and introducing people to those 事業／計画（する）s.
the 文書s (like specs template and features 述べるd in IZ) and 道具s used for 共同 (Licenses, JCA, CVS, EIS)

NL 事業／計画（する）s are not 独立した・無所属（独立の）存在s, they are the first step to belong to a community and learn how to behave in it. For those who wants to go その上の, the need of picturing the OOo community is a 必要物／必要条件. Aside the structure, there are general 原則s that are 利用できる in any FOSS community like: 目的（とする）ing dialog and 合意, 株ing knowledge and 力／強力にする, personal 責任／義務, 信用／信任.
This means for example that competencies are 促進するd and 認めるd not as personal 出資／貢献s but for what they bring to the 事業／計画（する）. In the same way some are 事業／計画（する）s leads, but only contributors in other 事業／計画（する）s.
In 結論, 与える／捧げるing to a 事業／計画（する） is based on an ethic of discussion and 尊敬（する）・点 for others.

Louis Suarez-Potts - Community 経営者／支配人, OpenOffice.org/CollabNet

This talk recapitulates the events of the last year and then looks 今後 to what the next year and beyond might 持つ／拘留する for OpenOffice.org. Topics 含む:

Localizing OpenOffice.org

Monica Badia - Italian Language Lead, Sun Microsystems

Biographies:

Dott. Monica Badia: Italian Language Lead at Sun Microsystems. She is 責任がある the 品質管理 of Sun localized 製品s in Italian. She is also lead of the linguistic QA Matrix and linguistic review 過程 for the European languages. She counts a 6 year experience at Sun Microsystems in the field of localization. From 1999to 2003 she was 割り当てるd to the translation and L10N 実験（する）ing of StarOffice in Italian.

The Lingucomponent 事業／計画（する） – linguistic 道具s in OpenOffice.org

The Lingucomponent 事業／計画（する） is 責任がある（一定の）期間 checking, thesauri, and grammar checking inside OpenOffice.org. I will show where OOo's （一定の）期間 checking and thesaurus features stand today, how they 異なる from those in StarOffice and how the community can 高める them. One important thing is of course 延長するing these features to new languages. This is a fair 量 of work, but it doesn't 要求する programming 技術s and I'll 論証する the approaches that make these 仕事s feasible.

New thesauri can be built using OpenThesaurus, a PHP-driven website that 許すs the community to work on a new thesaurus or to 持続する an 存在するing one. 令状ing dictionaries is a 仕事 that's not 井戸／弁護士席 supported by 道具s, but I'll show the basic ideas behind MySpell – OOo's 統合するd （一定の）期間 checker – and how to get started 令状ing your own （一定の）期間ing dictionary. For grammar checking, I will show what is still 行方不明の to 統合する a grammar checking into OOo.

Also, the 概念 of a programming interface for （一定の）期間 checking and thesauri will be explained which 許すs everybody to plug in his own （一定の）期間 checkers and thesauri.

Biography: Daniel Naber 熟考する／考慮するd computer science and linguistics at the University of Bielefeld, Germany. He now 作品 at a ソフトウェア company in Munich that 専攻するs in 高めるing fulltext search with linguistic methods. He's author of OpenThesaurus, a web 使用／適用 that's used to 持続する the German (www.openthesaurus.de), ポーランドの（人）, and Spanish thesaurus for OpenOffice.org. He also wrote LanguageTool, an English grammar checker that can be adapted for other languages.

The Localization 過程

The Italian OpenOffice 事業／計画（する） is 再編成するing the localization 過程ーするために改善する the 質 of the translation and to keep it as up-to-date as possible.
We would like to 提案する the organization of a BOF where 翻訳家s could discuss how to best carry out the translation 過程. We would like to 焦点（を合わせる） on the に引き続いて問題／発行するs:

the importance of Translation Memories (TM) and glossaries;
CAT 道具s (which CAT 道具 is best for the OOo localization);
how to work with a CAT 道具;
workflow (how to 組織する the work of the 翻訳家s – structure of a translation team, mailing 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）s, TM and glossaries repositories, stylistic guides, etc.);
調整 of the さまざまな国家の groups.

Localization – the 道具s and the people

This 開会／開廷／会期 will 現在の the localization 枠組み used by many native language 事業／計画（する）s with 簡潔な／要約する overview of 道具s 利用できる for 翻訳家s and 事業／計画（する） leaders. In 新規加入 to technical 面s, also people are important for successful localization. I will 現在の the experiences in attracting, choosing and 保持するing 事業／計画（する） contributors, 組織するing them to 協力する on translation and 評価するing their work. And also, I will talk about 共同 with 使用者s on finding bugs in localized texts.

Biography: I'm the member of Czech native language 事業／計画（する） for a few years and from the beginning of this year I'm the translation co-lead. Also, I'm a student at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University in Brno and I'm developing dictionary 令状ing system in the Natural Language 過程ing 研究室／実験室 at FI MU.

Bug 追跡（する）ing Party

To give the daily work of our QA team a 上げる, the best way is to come together and do the 職業.
There have been some 事実上の bug 追跡（する）ing days within the 最近の years, 組織するd 経由で IRC. We want to do the same but 招待する people to 会合，会う each other, talk to each other, spread their knowledge and go for a bug 追跡（する）.
After a short introduction of the daily work of a qu member, we would 簡単に start doing it. That means searching issuezilla for unconfirmed 問題／発行するs, try to 確認する them, look for duplicates or even already 解決するd 問題／発行するs.
People should bring a notebook with them, if possible.
For the 開会／開廷／会期 we will need wired / wireless internet 接近.
