William Carron was born in 1821 at Pulham, Norfolk, England.

He was a gardener in England. He arrived in Sydney in 1844 in 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金 of 工場/植物s for Alexander McLeay's garden and was was botanist to Edmund Kennedy's 探検隊/遠征隊 to Cape York 1848.

He was a clerk in the Department of the Superintendent of 罪人/有罪を宣告するs from 1848-53 and from 1866-1875 he was a collector for the Sydney Botanic Gardens and collected (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) on forest reserves for the New South むちの跡s Lands Department.

He was 任命するd 視察官 of forests and 植林学 特別奇襲隊員, Clarence 地区 of New South むちの跡s, in 1876.

Carron died at Grafton, New South むちの跡s, in 1876.
