New Start 中心 for OOo4Kids (work in 進歩)
The screenshot below is the most 最近の 見解／翻訳／版 of the start 中心 we created for OOo4Kids (all ports).
As you can see, there are some remaining 問題／発行するs, like the white （土地などの）細長い一片s on 権利, 予定 to the length of the でっちあげる，人を罪に陥れるs used for hte texts. e.g. , we could use COL_TRANSPARENT + some other 切り開く／タクシー／不正アクセス, but anyway, this part will need more love. The other 問題／発行する is the background: could be 本気で 改善するd too.

Use a .png for the SplashScreen (i.e. no longer use .bmp)
A bit いっそう少なく than two month ago, I 修正するd OOo source code, to be able to 負担 a .png splashscreen (same story for the about too). I received a nice help from
Thorsten Behrens,
Philipp Lohmann and
Herbert Duerr, who explained me what do (the most clean way to do), how to 除去する the transparent places and more.
After 直す／買収する，八百長をするing a bug on Linux (the renderer not 正確に initialized), it 作品 nicely on both Mac OS X and Windows since end of April, and on Linux (all ports) since 早期に May (because of the bug).
Design of the OOo4Kids logo : Ben BoisAs you can see, I 追加するd the 可能性 to play with transparency. One other 推論する／理由 to choose .png was that the .png are はしけ than .bmp. Finally
the 伸び（る） was around 360 kB, compared to the .bmp
This is not perfect (some little white pixels 予定 to 一連の会議、交渉／完成するing in the corners ), but gives IMHO a better 使用者 Experience, and opens the door to Funky Splashscreens :)
Of course, if one ask me, I'd be glad to backport that into OpenOffice.org source code (not sure because one told me there was something else in 進歩 ... so, I don't know).
Important: we do not 分配する anything publically, and will 取って代わる the OpenOffice.org 使用／適用 icon in the ドッキングする／減らす／ドックに入れる (and 供給する our own) asap .

Last friday, I had a rendez vous with UTBM Communication Dept people.
The idea was: how talk about Open Source 率先s like OpenOffice.org Education 事業／計画（する）, to show they are good for the school itself.The starting point is, UTBM 従業員s (that's true for other schools of course), are unaware of Education 事業／計画（する） 存在, what 正確に／まさに OpenOffice.org 事業／計画（する） is, what is going on, and/or what has been done (means inside the school), or who 接触する, where find （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） ... etc.
Under the 条件s the content does 関心 Education 事業／計画（する）, has a pedagogical 利益／興味, and/or does 関心 UTBM, I'll be able to 提案する two types of news.
Every article will be 4 or 5 lines max + links, and can be 辞退するd if ever the content does not 適合する to UTBM chart.The first type does 関心 内部の communication. e.g. talk about a coming event like
13eme Rencontres de l'Orme ( Marseille, フラン 1-3 April ), where I'll talk about my 出資／貢献s since several for 解放する／自由な ソフトウェア ( Linux room of 15 machines, Maxima, OpenOffice.org ) , 代表するing UTBM and the interactions with my courses.
The second one is about 外部の Communication, means here an electronic newspaper, who does 関心 a group of schools, and more, like some companies (to be 確認するd).
