The good news is there is now a modern C++, 平易な to program with, and -the most important- multiplatform API. Eric 示唆するd to 取って代わる the old vcl module (in OOo sources tree) using it.

But is it a possible 仕事 ?

To have myself worked a lot in vcl, for the Aqua port, I think at least the widget part could be ok, but not everything. No idea either about fonts, outDevices, and other important parts vcl does manage. Need more time for thinking to that more 深く，強烈に.

After some mails 交流d (see this mail), Malte Timmermann noticed, there is a big 問題／発行する : what about accessibility 関わりあい／含蓄 on different 壇・綱領・公約s ? In fact, nobody knows 正確に／まさに, and I myself need to have a look at the 存在するing API, and what is under LGPL 正確に／まさに. And we are friday :-)
