New Features from the OpenOffice.org 3.4 beta
These features were already part of the OpenOffice.org 3.4 beta. The 3.4 beta was built from the OOO340 code line which was cloned from DEV300m106. This code line is the base for the Apache OpenOffice code.
Faster Startup
Startup is faster since the program now has enough 初期の knowledge about its 構成要素s so that it doesn't have to start each of them.
改善するd ODF 1.2 encryption support
The ODF 1.2 specification 許すs optional use of W3C-明示するd algorithms in the encryption (password-保護) of ODF 1.2 文書s.
For Apache OpenOffice 3.4, the default "Save with Password" continues to use SHA1 digests and Blowfish encryption, the one combination that is supported for 交換 of encrypted 文書s across ODF 1.0/1.1 and ODF 1.2 supporting 使用／適用.
In 新規加入, 文書s encrypted using AES256 are now 認めるd and decrypted when the 訂正する password is 供給するd.

The MaxRowScan setting 許すs the 使用者 to define how many 列／漕ぐ／騒動s should be scanned to find the 訂正する type of a column. In the past only the first 列／漕ぐ／騒動 was scanned.
Math: new 選択 to save only used symbols for each 決まり文句／製法
ーするために save on 文書 とじ込み／提出する size (すなわち in Writer 文書s with many 決まり文句／製法s) there is now a new 選択 to save only those symbols that are used in a 決まり文句／製法. By default this 選択 will be active. Geek info: However there is a small drawback: 以前, if you worked with different office 取り付け・設備s, 文書s with 決まり文句／製法s could be used to 暗黙に 輸入する ALL 使用者-defined symbols in Math from one office 取り付け・設備 to the next, even if 非，不，無 of them got used in a 決まり文句／製法. Since now only the 現実に used symbols get saved, only those can be 暗黙に 輸入するd into a different office 取り付け・設備. To get the old 行為, 簡単に turn off this new 選択.
決まり文句／製法: (a)自動的な／(n)自動拳銃 baseline for Math 反対するs
There is a new check-box 指名するd 'Math baseline alignment' 利用できる in the 'Formatting 援助（する）s' tab of the Writer and WriterWeb 選択 pages. When this 選択 gets checked then ALL Math OLE 反対するs already 存在するing in the Writer 文書 that are 錨，総合司会者d 'as character' (and only those with this 錨，総合司会者 type) will be automatically 提携させるd to match the baseline of the 決まり文句／製法 with the one of the surrounding text. Also new Math 反対するs 挿入するd later on will be automatically 提携させるd 同様に. As long as this 選択 is active, 手動式の movement of Math 反対するs that are 錨，総合司会者d 'as character' is not possible, and thus vertical alignment in the '反対する' 状況 dialog is now 無能にするd 同様に. For new 文書s this 選択 is 始める，決める by default. When 負担ing old 文書s it is not 始める，決める. In any 事例／患者, once a 文書 gets saved again, the 現在の value of this 選択 will be saved along with the 文書. This (a)自動的な／(n)自動拳銃 baseline alignment was 器具／実施するd by Michal Spisiak as part of this year's Google Summer of Code; the 助言者 for this was Eric Bachard. Thanks to both of them!

New Features for Apache OpenOffice 3.4
These features are the result of the work at Apache on OpenOffice since the OpenOffice.org 3.4 beta:
License Change
The License has changed to our simpler, 非，不，無-制限する, Apache License 2. The Apache License will make 採択, 配当 and modification of the ソフトウェア easier for all 使用者s and developers. Of course the ソフトウェア remains 解放する／自由な, and the source code with its updates will continue to be 利用できる through the Apache ソフトウェア 創立／基礎 servers.
Misc. Updates.
In 一致 to the new license all the ソフトウェア 構成要素s have been updated to use licenses that are in line with ASF 指導基準s. No 批判的な functionality was lost, and we did update many libraries that will work better on most 状況／情勢s. Support for Line Cap 所有物／資産／財産
Now you can 追加する a cap to the end of a line. Such caps are not only known in the ODF1 .2 基準 but in HTML5 and SVG too. Also other Office 控訴s 供給する caps in different styles to be 追加するd to 厚い lines.
Three styles 存在する:
without a cap, called 'Butt' in programming and 'Flat' in UI (as in MS Office)
with a 一連の会議、交渉／完成する cap, called '一連の会議、交渉／完成する'
with a rectangle cap, called 'Square' The 所有物／資産／財産 value 'Flat' corresponds to the old 行為 and is now the default.
The caps are 追加するd to the lines, so that the total length of the lines 増加するs with two-times a half line width.
Select the value from a 減少（する）-負かす／撃墜する-名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） in the line 所有物／資産／財産 dialog, just beside the settings for corner style. The new 所有物／資産／財産 is only 利用できる in 状況s, where the corner style is active too.
If a line is dashed, the 選び出す／独身 dashes get caps too. Hereby a dot is 扱う／治療するd as dash. You can style not only pure lines and curves, but the 国境 of graphic 反対するs 同様に.
The next example shows the new 所有物／資産／財産 適用するd to a connector. Left 味方する without cap, in the middle with '一連の会議、交渉／完成する' cap, and on the 権利 味方する with 'square' cap.
The caps are 利用できる for 3D-反対するs too, when you turn on lines and make them 厚い. The example shows lines, which are styled to look “dotted”.

Linecaps defined in svg-graphics are supported, so that those graphics look the same as they do in modern browsers.
Support for shear 変形s for GraphicObjects (Blog 入ること／参加（者）)
GraphicObjects which get created when 挿入するing graphics in Draw/Impress and Spreadsheet support now not only rotation but also shear, slant and distort. The visualization during interactions was 改善するd, also the break for vector-based GraphicObjects to draw 反対するs was 改善するd. Writer has its own GraphicObjects; the ones from the other 使用／適用s can be copied to it as workaround.
Support for せいにするs and 変形s for OLEObjects (Blog 入ること／参加（者）)
OLEObjects (OLE is for 反対する Linking and Embedding) in Draw/Impress and Spreadsheet support now all draw せいにするs and geometrical 変形s. They can have line style, fill style, 影をつくる／尾行する and text. They support all 変形s, e.g. rotations and shear. This is handy for e.g. having a mathematical 決まり文句／製法 shown 回転／交替d by 90 degrees or 追加するing a 国境 to a chart. Break to draw 反対するs is also 高めるd.
高めるd 刈る support for GraphicalObjects
刈る for GraphicObjects now 作品 正確に together with 水平の and/or vertical mirroring in all 使用／適用s.
Support for Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) (Blog 入ること／参加（者）)
SVG is now supported as content for GraphicObjects in all 使用／適用s. The new 器具／実施するd generic SVG interpreter supports SVG 判型 1.1. The geometric content is internally 過程d as vector data in all usages, e.g. PDF 輸出（する） and printing, which 保証（人）s good visualization 質. SVG graphics can be broken to draw 反対するs and be 過程d その上の.
Support for MultiImage in ODF
For SVG support it was necessary to 許す 多重の image 代表s for one GraphicObject to be 現在の in the ODF とじ込み／提出する 判型, e.g. a pixel graphic and the 初めの SVG is written in 事例／患者 of a GraphicObject with SVG content. Writer: Asian Language Word Count
The word count of Asian languages is now 訂正する. Previous 解放（する）s were counting 条件 instead of words when counting words of Asian language text. Notice that とじ込み／提出する word count will not be automatically updated for 存在するing text 文書s. You need to make a change to the 文書 ーするために 軍隊 an update of the とじ込み／提出する word count.
New 正規の／正選手 表現s (regexp) engine
The 存在するing 正規の／正選手 表現 engine has been 取って代わるd by the ICU engine. This solves several bugs in "Find and 取って代わる" with the old 実施 and 速度(を上げる）s up the search.
The new engine also 申し込む／申し出s better 基準s 同意／服従 特に regarding Unicode, which also means that some 非，不，無-基準 syntax 拡張s like \< and \> for word 境界 matching are now deprecated. For the convenience of a smooth 昇格 experience they get emulated by the \b 操作者 though.
See ICU regex syntax for 表現s supported in the new 正規の／正選手 表現 engine. It is recommended to stay on the ありふれた ground though and regex flavors gives an overview where this ありふれた ground is. The 修正するd syntax 適用するs to 大型のs too: 正規の／正選手 表現s in 大型のs that were relying on the deprecated syntax should be 変えるd to use 広範囲にわたって supported regex 表現s.
使用者s of Japanese scripts should be aware that several 非，不，無-trivial transliterations could behave わずかに 異なって, 特に when transliteration 支配するs like "ProlongedSoundMark", "IterationMark", "Ignore-Width", "BaFa", "SeZe", "HyuByu", "IandEfollowedByYa" or "KiKuFollowedBySa" might be 伴う／関わるd.
New Color Picker dialog
The old color picker which is used in the office code for over a １０年間 has been 取って代わるd by a new, more intuitive one which 申し込む／申し出s a wide variety of color 選択 可能性s. This feature was developed by Christian Lippka; kudos to him for 申し込む／申し出ing it under Apache License. A picture says more than words.
