There’s been rather a lot going on recently, and I just noticed that I didn’t 地位,任命する an update on the results of the 生体検査 they did after my mouth 操作/手術.
It turns out that the lump they took out from the 床に打ち倒す of my mouth 含む/封じ込めるd the 最初の/主要な 場所/位置, or most of it, for the 癌 I had 支援する in 2001. I have a 癌 called Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC), a slow-growing salivary-(分泌する為の)腺 癌 with a 傾向 to spread along 神経s.
明白に, 除去するing the 最初の/主要な is a step 今後. However, as they didn’t get it all, I need to have a その上の 操作/手術 to 除去する the 残り/休憩(する). This will probably create a larger 穴を開ける than can just be sewn together, so they ーするつもりである to fill it with a lump taken out of my upper 脚. (In the past, it has been 発言/述べるd that I’m rather 傾向がある to foot-in-mouth 病気; I didn’t 推定する/予想する I’d 証明する everyone 権利 in やめる such a literal way…) This 操作/手術 is scheduled for April 13th. The 最初の/主要な 危険 is probably 神経 損失 – I’ve already lost feeling in part of my tongue as a result of the 初期の 手続き.
I also have between one and four, depending on how 悲観的な you are, metastatic nodes in my 肺s. These can only be 除去するd when they are big enough for the 外科医 to feel, which should be in about 12 months.
生き残り 率s for ACC are, によれば one website, 89% at five years but 40% at fifteen years. In that 状況, I stand behind Paul’s words in Philippians 1:
“I 熱望して 推定する/予想する and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have 十分な courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my 団体/死体, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is 伸び(る).”
Paul goes on to say how torn he is between continuing to serve Christ on earth, and 出発/死ing to be with him. I already understand somewhat how he felt and, as this goes on, I’m sure I will do so more and more.
Those (few…) of you who are Christians, please pray for me the same thing – that Christ would be exalted in my 団体/死体 and my 活動/戦闘s.
Hi Gerv,
I will pray for you. I am a christian. I hope everything goes 井戸/弁護士席. Remember the 説 always look on the 有望な 味方する of life. Some people lif long and don’t have a nothing to look 支援する on. Even if you live not very long anymore make sure you do the things you want to do. (i hope to see you around a very long time)
greetingszzzzz
Ferdi
I wish you all the fortitude possible and a long life 敗北・負かすing all 半端物s.
(I just realised that my English education didn’t teach me anything regarding “best wishes”. I hope it doesn’t sound to strange.)
Hi Gervase! I just 手配中の,お尋ね者 you to know that I’m your brother in Christ and that I’ve been reading your blog for a while and will be praying for you.
God Bless!
Hi Gerv. As a fellow Christian, I pray for you, not only that you would 生き残る your 癌, but that God would continue to bless and 強化する you to be a bold 証言,証人/目撃する for Him, as you have already been doing. I have been encouraged in my own 約束 by seeing your public confesssion of Christ. Keep speaking the truth.
I’m not a Christian, but I wish you 井戸/弁護士席. I hope the 操作/手術 goes 滑らかに and that they get everything this time around.
Good luck on the 治療 Gerv. 癌 治療 is getting better and better.
I’m not a christian, but that doesn’t 減らす how much I wish you good health and 十分な 回復. It must be awful living in such 不確定.
Hi Gerv, good luck and my very best wishes.. Your story really touched me. If there is any way someone here can help you, please let us know.
Best of luck and best wishes. I don’t know you outside of your blog here, but it is my impression that if there is anyone who can (警官の)巡回区域,受持ち区域 this, its you.
You’ll get better, 信用 me.
I can’t wait to say “‘Told you so!”
Best wishes man! Be strong !
Hang in there, mate.
I’m sure you already know that, but heck, 4 out of 10 is still pretty good, almost 50/50 and that’s the 肉親,親類d of probability we 直面する every day…
Just don’t 洞穴 in, you know, don’t give up. (and no 事柄 how much you 信用 in God – don’t you neglect the 薬/医学! ;) )
Best of luck.
Gerv,
I’ll be keeping you in my 祈りs. Please keep us 知らせるd as best you can. You give me courage in my own 約束. Thank you.
Hi, Gerv,
With moistened 注目する,もくろむs, I 令状 to you, as a Christian, 存在 always in Christ is the ONLY way to live. If you really 手配中の,お尋ね者 the 団体/死体 to be cured, it will, Jesus not only cured, but also rose the dead.
The 根底となる fabric behind all 宗教s is the 受託 of a higher 力/強力にする and incarnations like Jesus, Krishna are manifestations of those 力/強力にするs which has come to earth, bore a human 団体/死体 and lived with ignorant people like us, to remind us that there is something beyond our day-to-day 認識/意識性. They 証明する that in innumerable ways to remind one of that. Keep strong. I know it is 堅い. Give everything to Christ everyday, 含むing your 団体/死体. 持つ/拘留する His 手渡すs tightly like a child wants to do, when he is afraid. Depend on Him, put all your 約束 in Him, be in Him. We didn’t have any 認識/意識性 of our 団体/死体 before we were born, we won’t have it after we are gone, we are here for a very short period, and this keeps on repeating in this world. You will be 井戸/弁護士席, with the 信用 in God, have a STRONG WILL to be cured, the 力/強力にする of Will is the 力/強力にする of God.
Give everything to Him everyday(I know you are doing that), 団体/死体 becomes 第2位 then, and what you 伸び(る) is a lot more. (Why carry baggage with you when you have 船内にd a train. Leave everything to him, and carry on with your life. As someone else について言及するd, don’t forget your 薬/医学s, still.
元気づけるs and praying for your 団体/死体 to be 傷をいやす/和解させるd, Hem
Thank you to everyone for their 祈りs and best wishes. I very much 高く評価する/(相場などが)上がる your support :-)
現実に, it’s not. It doesn’t worry me at all. “And we know that in all things God 作品 for the good of those who love him, who have been called によれば his 目的.” (Romans 8:28) With a 約束 like that, who could be worried?
Hem, we’ve discussed these 問題/発行するs before – but I feel compelled to point out again that this is not the 根底となる fabric behind Christianity. The point of Christianity is not to “受託する a higher 力/強力にする”, it’s to find a 関係 with a personal God. Jesus is not “a manifestation of that 力/強力にする”, he is God himself. And he didn’t come to “remind us that there is something beyond our day-to-day 認識/意識性”, he (機の)カム to take the 罰 for our 反乱 against God so that we can have that 重要な 関係 I について言及するd.
This is what the Bible says. You could (人命などを)奪う,主張する that it’s rubbish, but you can’t (人命などを)奪う,主張する that it’s 説 something 完全に different, because 単に reading the words shows that’s wrong. You can continue to 主張する that all 宗教s are really the same, but that doesn’t make it true :-)
Hi, Gerv,I will pray for you too.
I know very 井戸/弁護士席 you had gone through,I got same scar than you have (Squamous Carcinoma of Tongue).
Best wishes man.
井戸/弁護士席 明言する/公表するd. I wish you 井戸/弁護士席 and will be praying that you will grow stronger day by day in God’s grace and in His Word and that His will be done… as is my 祈り for all Christians.
Gerv,
I have been an active reader of your blog for some time and have enjoyed your 姿勢 of 約束. I am a 信奉者 and am praying for you. Thank you for taking on a humble, yet kingdom mindset.
Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. Do not grow 疲れた/うんざりした in doing good, reach 今後 to what lies ahead, and 圧力(をかける) on toward the goal for the prize of the 上向き call of God in Christ Jesus.
May God bless you and your family and may the results bring glory to our Father in heaven.
Gerv,
As a fellow Christian, I pray that God gives you a good 結果 and 完全にする 回復 from this and other 病気s.
Your 約束 in Christ has helped to reinvigorate my 約束. Jesus’ death and resurrection were as real as the lost of our 貿易(する) 中心 and over 3000 lives not too long ago. His resurrection is a 約束 of things to come and gives hope for the 未来. Ten of the 12 初めの disciples were killed (some very 残酷に), an 11th died in 刑務所,拘置所, rather than recant the fact of His death and resurrection. Would Jesus’ closest associates choose to die for a 嘘(をつく) — along with thousands of other First Century 信奉者s? I do not think so.
(頭が)ひょいと動く
Chances for Mozilla 生き残るing and 栄えるing in the 21st century 現実に looked worse in 1998, and we’re doing やめる 井戸/弁護士席 ;-)
I’m really praying for you to (警官の)巡回区域,受持ち区域 the 半端物s 同様に as our 事業/計画(する) does every day. And from the reading of your 入ること/参加(者), I’m pretty 確信して you’ll make your way in a good Christian sense – one way or the other. I really wish everything turns out for you the best way it can.
Though i yet know you hardly at all, please know that i wish you 井戸/弁護士席. Your 楽観主義 and fortitude are admirable.
Its mind over 事柄 friend I`ve been in remission for 21 years now you`ll be 罰金.
god bless
