After the 開始 of the evening 開会／開廷／会期 the 大統領 of the 法廷，裁判所 Comrade Ulrich 演説（する）／住所s each of the （刑事）被告, 認めるing them the 床に打ち倒す for their speeches of defence, since they 辞退するd counsel of defence. All the （刑事）被告 in turn tell the 法廷，裁判所 that they will not make their speeches of defence, giving as the 推論する／理由 that they will avail themselves of their 権利 of the last 嘆願. A number of the （刑事）被告 強調する that they do not regard themselves する権利を与えるd to defence as they 認める the correctness of the 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s made against them.

After a short 休会 the 法廷，裁判所 開始するs the 審理，公聴会 of the last 嘆願s of the （刑事）被告.

The first to speak is Mrachkovsky.

The （刑事）被告 Mrachkovsky starts his last 嘆願 by relating his autobiography. Then he goes to say:

"In 1923 I became a Trotskyite. I took a despicable path, the path of deception of the Party. We must cross out past services; the past does not 存在する. But the 現在の cannot be crossed out. I am a couter-革命の. . . .

"I do not ask for mitigation of my 罰," continues Mrachkovsky. "I do not want that. I want to be believed that during the 調査 and in 法廷，裁判所 I told the whole truth. I want to 出発／死 from life without carrying any filth with me.

"Why did I take the 反対する-革命の path?" says Mrachkovsky その上の. "My 関係 with Trotsky - that is what brought me to this; it is from that time on that I began to deceive the Party, to deceive its leaders. Some may say: 'The Party gave no help; it might have been possible perhaps to ひったくる the fellow from 反対する-革命 and save him, but the Party took no 対策.' That would not be true. " I think I have said everything," says Mrachkovsky in 結論. "Let everybody remember that not only a general, not only a prince or nobleman can become a 反対する 革命の; 労働者s or those who spring from the working class, like myself, can also become 反対する-革命のs.

"I 出発／死 as a 反逆者 to my Party, as a 反逆者 who should be 発射. All I ask is that I be believed when I say that during the 調査 I spat out all this vomit."

"Who will believe a 選び出す／独身 word of ours?" asks Evdokimov in 開始 his last 嘆願. "Who will believe us, who played so detestable a comedy at the fresh 墓／厳粛／彫る／重大な of Kirov whom we had killed; who will believe us,who only by 事故, not through any fault of our own, did not become the 暗殺者s of Stalin and other leaders of the people? Who will believe us, who are 直面するing the Coart as a 反対する-革命の ギャング（団） of 強盗団の一味, as 同盟（する）s of fascism,of the Gestapo? Did the heart of even a 選び出す／独身 one of us, who were 罪人／有罪を宣告するd in the last year's 裁判，公判 of the Zinovievites in Leningrad, shudder at the thought of our 共犯者s remaining at liberty, knowing as we did, although in 刑務所，拘置所, that any day, any hour, another dastardly 発射 may be 解雇する／砲火／射撃d? Not one of us did what he should have done had we been bound by the thinnest of threads to the 原因（となる） of the 革命.

"The difference between us and the 国粋主義者／ファシスト党員s is very much in our disfavour, Fascism 率直に and 率直に inscribed on its 旗，新聞一面トップの大見出し／大々的に報道する: 'Death to 共産主義.' On our lips we had all the time 'Long Live 共産主義,' 反して by our 行為s we were fighting 社会主義 vicorious in the U.S.S.R. In words - 'Long live the 共産主義者 Party of the Soviet Union.' In 行為s - 準備 for the 暗殺 of the members of the Political Bureau of the Central 委員会 of the Party, one of whom we did kill..In words - '負かす／撃墜する with 帝国主義,' in 行為s - banking on the 敗北・負かす of the U.S.S.R. in the struggle against international 帝国主義."

Continuing, the （刑事）被告 Evdokimov says: "Trotsky is not with us here in the ドッキングする／減らす／ドックに入れる because he is abroad. He has two 視野s before him: either to disappear すぐに and without a trace, as Azef did, not only from the political 円形競技場, but from the 円形競技場 of life in general and go into oblivion, hide behind some 誤った 指名する as Azef did - or else, at some time, 直面する a proletarian 法廷，裁判所."

"I don't consider it possible to 嘆願d for 温和／情状酌量," says Evdokimov in 結論. "Our 罪，犯罪s against the proletarian 明言する／公表する and against the international 革命の movement are too 広大な／多数の／重要な to make it possible for us 推定する／予想する 温和／情状酌量."

"The political importance and the past of each of us," says Dreitzer, "were not the same. But, having become 暗殺者s, we have all become equals here. I, at any 率, am one of those who have no 権利 to 推定する／予想する nor to ask for mercy."

"Whatever our 運命／宿命 may be," says the （刑事）被告 Reingold in his last 嘆願, "we have been already 発射 政治上. The 代表者／国会議員 of the 明言する／公表する 起訴, speaking with the 発言する／表明する of 170,000,000 Soviet people, 需要・要求するd that we be 発射 like mad dogs. I knew where I was going and what I was going for. I and the whole of the テロリスト Trotskyite-Zinovievite organization sitting here have been exposed by this 裁判，公判 as the shock 軍隊／機動隊, as a white-guard, 国粋主義者／ファシスト党員 shock 軍隊／機動隊, of the international 反対する-革命の bourgeoisie.

"The circle has の近くにd. It is over with the political masquerade, it is over with the shams of 対立s, discussions and 壇・綱領・公約s. 対立 was superseded by 共謀 against the 明言する／公表する; discussions and 壇・綱領・公約s were superseded by 弾丸s and 爆弾s." In 結論 Reingold says:

"Our 裁判，公判, the 裁判，公判 of the Trotskyite-Zinovievite テロリスト and 国粋主義者／ファシスト党員 organization, will bury the political 死体s of Zinoviev, Kamenev and Trotsky, and of his 影をつくる／尾行する, his loyal armour-持参人払いの, Smirnov, as under a 激しい tombstone.

"I fully 認める my 犯罪. It is not for me to 嘆願d for mercy."

"I am 有罪の of the 暗殺 of Kirov," 宣言するs Bakayev. "I took a direct part in the 準備 of other terroristic 行為／法令／行動するs against the leaders of the Party and the 政府. I am 用意が出来ている to 耐える 十分な 責任／義務. We Trotskyites and Zinovievites not only worked for the 利益 of the international 反対する-革命の bourgeoisie, we also worked 手渡す in 手渡す with the スパイ／執行官s of the most bitter enemy of the working class, fascism.

"The facts which were 明らかにする／漏らすd before this 法廷，裁判所 show to the whole world that the 組織者 of this 前例のない Trotskyite-Zinovievite 反対する-革命の テロリスト 圏,  its moving spirit, is Trotsky. I have wagered my 長，率いる over and over in the 利益／興味s of Zinoviev and Kamenev. I am ひどく 抑圧するd by the thought that I became an obedient 道具 in the 手渡すs of Zinoviev and Kamenev, became an スパイ／執行官 of the 反対する-革命, that I raised my 手渡す against Stalin."

Bakayev turns to Zinoviev and 告発する／非難するs him of not 存在 frank even at this 裁判，公判.

Bakayev 結論するs by 明言する／公表するing that he realizes the gravity of his 罪，犯罪 and を待つs the deserved and just 判決 of the proletarian 法廷，裁判所.

The （刑事）被告 Pickel makes a 詳細（に述べる）d review of the history of the 開発 of the Trotskyite-Zinovievite 対立 which became a ギャング（団） of 反対する-革命の テロリストs. He says that from 1925 onwards, the struggle this 対立 行うd against the Party and its Central 委員会 含む／封じ込めるd all the elements of political banditry. The struggle started with filthy insinuations against the Party leadership and ended with terroristic 行為／法令／行動するs.

"Only one 結論 can be drawn," says Pickel. "We 代表する a most 残虐な ギャング（団） of 犯罪のs who are nothing more nor いっそう少なく than a detachment of international fascism. Trotsky, Zinoviev and Kamenev were our 旗，新聞一面トップの大見出し／大々的に報道する.
