In transforming a backward 農業の 中国 into an 前進するd 産(工)業化するd country, we are 直面するd with arduous 仕事s and our experience is far from 適する. So we must be good at learning.

条件s are changing all the time, and to adapt one's thinking to the new 条件s, one must 熟考する/考慮する. Even those who have a better しっかり掴む of Marxism and are comparatively 会社/堅い in their proletarian stand have to go on 熟考する/考慮するing, have to 吸収する what is new and 熟考する/考慮する new problems.

We can learn what we did not know. We are not only good at destroying the old world, we are also good at building the new.

Now, there are two different 態度s に向かって learning from others. One is the dogmatic 態度 of 移植(する)ing everything, whether or not it is ふさわしい to our 条件s. This is no good. The other 態度 is to use our 長,率いるs and learn those things which 控訴 our 条件s, that is, to 吸収する whatever experience is useful to us. That is the 態度 we should 可決する・採択する.

The theory of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin is universally applicable. We should regard it not as a dogma, but as a guide to 活動/戦闘. 熟考する/考慮するing it is not 単に a 事柄 of learning 条件 and phrases but of learning Marxism-Leninism as the science of 革命. It is not just a 事柄 of understanding the general 法律s derived by Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin from their 広範囲にわたる 熟考する/考慮する of real life and 革命の experience, but of 熟考する/考慮するing their 見地 and method in 診察するing and solving problems.

If we have a 訂正する theory but 単に prate about it, pigeonhole it and do not put it into practice, then that theory, however good, is of no significance.

It is necessary to master Marxist theory and 適用する it, master it for the 単独の 目的 of 適用するing it. If you can 適用する the Marxist-Leninist viewpoint in elucidating one or two practical problems, you should be commended and credited with some 業績/成就. The more problems you elucidate and the more comprehensively and profoundly you do so, the greater will be your 業績/成就.

How is Marxist-Leninist theory to be linked with the practice of the Chinese 革命? To use a ありふれた 表現, it is by "狙撃 the arrow at the 的". As the arrow is to the 的, so is Marxism-Leninism to the Chinese 革命. Some comrades, however, are "狙撃 without a 的", 狙撃 at 無作為の, and such people are liable to 害(を与える) the 革命.

Those experienced in work must (問題を)取り上げる the 熟考する/考慮する of theory and must read 本気で; only then will they be able to systematize and synthesize their experience and raise it to the level of theory, only then will they not mistake their 部分的な/不平等な experience for 全世界の/万国共通の truth and not commit empiricist errors.

Reading is learning, but 適用するing is also learning and the more important 肉親,親類d of learning at that. Our 長,指導者 method is to learn 戦争 through 戦争. A person who has had no 適切な時期 to go to school can also learn 戦争 - he can learn through fighting in war. A 革命の war is a 集まり 請け負うing; it is often not a 事柄 of first learning and then doing, but of doing and then learning, for doing is itself learning.

There is a gap between the ordinary 非軍事の and the 兵士, but it is no 広大な/多数の/重要な 塀で囲む, and it can be quickly の近くにd, and the way to の近くに it is to 参加する 革命, in war. By 説 that it is not 平易な to learn and to 適用する, we mean that it is hard to learn 完全に and to 適用する skilfully. By 説 that 非軍事のs can very quickly become 兵士s, we mean that it is not difficult to cross the threshold. To put the two 声明s together, we may 特記する/引用する the Chinese adage, "Nothing in the world is difficult for one who 始める,決めるs his mind to it." To cross the threshold is not difficult, and mastery, too, is possible 供給するd one 始める,決めるs one's mind to the 仕事 and is good at learning.

We must learn to do 経済的な work from all who know how, no 事柄 who they are. We must esteem them as teachers, learning from them respectfully and conscientiously. We must not pretend to know when we do not know.

Complacency is the enemy of 熟考する/考慮する. We cannot really learn anything until we rid ourselves of complacency. Our 態度 に向かって ourselves should be "to be insatiable in learning" and に向かって others "to be tireless in teaching".

Some people have read a few Marxist 調書をとる/予約するs and think themselves やめる learned but what they have read has not 侵入するd, has not struck root in their minds, so that they do not know how to use it and their class feelings remain as of old. Others are very conceited and having learned some 調書をとる/予約する-phrases, think themselves terrific and are very cocky; but whenever a 嵐/襲撃する blows up, they take a stand very different from that of the 労働者s and the 大多数 of the 小作農民s. They waver while the latter stand 会社/堅い, they equivocate while the latter are forthright.

ーするために have a leal しっかり掴む of Marxism, one must learn it not only from 調書をとる/予約するs, but おもに through class struggle, through practical work and の近くに 接触する with the 集まりs of 労働者s and 小作農民s. When in 新規加入 to reading some Marxist 調書をとる/予約するs our 知識人s have 伸び(る)d some understanding through の近くに 接触する with the 集まりs of 労働者s and 小作農民s and through their own practical work, we will all be speaking the same language, not only the ありふれた language of patriotism and the ありふれた language of the 社会主義者 system, but probably even the ありふれた language of the 共産主義者 world 見通し. If that happens, all of us will certainly work much better.
