This remarkable 製図／抽選 is part of Leonardo's 事業／計画（する） to 描写する all 面s of human life from its conception until its 満期. The 最高の，を越す annotation (as always written as a mirror image from 権利 to left) reads: "I expose to men the origin of their first, and perhaps second, 推論する／理由 for 存在するing." Although Leonardo made his own dissections, much of Galen 勝つ／広く一帯に広がるs in his depiction of 神経s and genitalia. Some 研究員s 示唆する that here is also a 言及／関連 to Hippocrates' 見解（をとる） of the human semen as having cerebral origin.

Freud について言及するd this 製図／抽選 in his "Eine Kindheitserinnerung des Leonardo da Vinci" (Gesammelte Werke bd VIII, 1909-1913). It is doubtful, Freud says, whether Leonardo had ever embraced a woman, and he 引用するs R. Reitler (from Internat. Zeitschrift für Psychoanalyse IV, 1916/17) how 不十分な Leonardo's （判決などを）下すing of the 女性（の） 団体／死体 was, how there is only one 導管 in the breast and how the milk seems to emanate from the lymphic cisterna chyli. Reitler also questions the position of the couple. Both when eating and making love people prefer to 嘘（をつく） 負かす／撃墜する, he says. But the biggest error, によれば Reitler, and Freud not only 引用するs this but also 供給するs a retouched reproduction of the 製図／抽選 to 証明する the point more 明確に, is the position of the feet: "Der Fuß des Mannes sollte nämlich der rechte sein; denn da Leonardo den Zeugungsakt in Form eines anatomischen Sagittaldurchschnittes darstellte, so müßte ja der linke männliche Fuß oberhalb der Bildfläche gedacht werden, und umgekehrt sollte aus demselben Grunde der weibliche Fuß der linken Seite angehören. Tatsächlich aber hat Leonardo weiblich und männlich vertauscht." Since this is a sagittal section there should be a 権利 foot belonging to the man and a left foot belonging to the woman. But 明白に Lionardo 混乱させるd male and 女性（の）, Reitler （人命などを）奪う，主張するs, and he also について言及するs the feminine look of the man's 長，率いる.

Freud does not comment much on Reitler's 分析 but points to Leonardo's homosexuality and says that he sublimates his libido into an 勧める for science: "Wenn wir das Zusammentreffen des übermächtigen Forschertriebes bei Leonardo mit der Verkümmerung seines Sexuallebens erwägen, welches sich auf sogenannte ideelle Homosexualität einschränkt, werden wir geneigt sein, ihn als einen Musterfall unseres dritten Typus in Anspruch zu nehmen. Daß es ihm nach infantiler Betätigung der Wißbegierde im Dienste sexueller Interessen dann gelungen ist, den größeren Anteil seiner Libido in Forscherdrang zu sublimieren, das wäre der Kern und das Geheimnis seines Wesens."
